Samsung Pixon Review

It’s an 8-megapixel camera, it’s a multimedia player… it’s the new Samsung Pixon. The latest model from the Korean company falls in the highest-class and is a direct rival to the Renoir by LG. It’s also one of the many contenders for the title 'King of the multimedia phones', which is currently held by the iPhone. Under the Pixon’s hood you’ll find many features, including an 8-megapixel camera marketed as 'better than an actual camera' and multiple video file formats in order to play clips without having to convert them. The only thing it lacks specification-wise is Wi-Fi and global 3G.

I don't understand why C905 isn't talked about when it comes to 8mp phones on PhoneArena. Just to remind everyone, C905 is THE FIRST 8.1 MP Camera announced.

that is a shame. this phone has no wifi and camera is worse than LG Renoir and they say: Pixon, AWARD WINNER!!!!! and LG Renoir Shit Winner!!!

Photos from the Pixon tend to get really blurry around the edges. The camera has a bad lens. LG Renoir's lens is much higher quality, producing crisp pictures. Plus the LG Renoir has WiFi and GPS.

Anyone know how likely it is that there will be software updates to sort out the browser? Without that being better, ill have to go fo the Omnia, or even the sony ericsson C905

Isit true the LG renoir has wifi and gps for mapping... and the pixon doesnt? Could anyone please tell me what the main differences are between this and the LG renoir?
