Samsung ATIV S Neo Preview

Lookie here, it turns out Nokia isn't the only company churning out Windows phones, as Samsung is reminding us that it too knows how to handle those live tiles. With a phone destined to grace Sprint's late-summer line-up, Samsung is gearing up to launch what may be considered the US version of its current Windows Phone 8 flagship, the ATIV S. Sprint's phone will be called ATIV S Neo, and by the looks of it, it'll fail to upgrade upon what the ATIV S already offers...

"Neo" means new and, as what PA said, by the looks of it, it'll fail to upgrade upon what the ATIV S already offers.. Geez..

Nice article. But sorry, when it comes to WP, it means only NOKIA.

If you look at the specs and I'm not even a "specs" guy, you will see this phone exceeds or matches most of Nokia's offerings. I've held a Lumia and frankly I wasn't impressed.

Fortunately I'm going to Wait some More until Sprint comes out with some HIGH END Windows Phones. Maybe when Microsoft Releases the GDR3 for Windows Phone by the End of the Year, there could Possibly be Some HIGH END Windows Phones Just being Released or News of them in the First Half of 2014. At that Time if and When that Happens, I Will Think about Considering to Maybe Upgrading from My HTC ARRIVE. One thing that I REALLY REALLY WANT, is a Physical Sliding Landscape QWERTY Keyboard just like is on My HTC ARRIVE.

You might wanna get your caps lock button fixed. It keeps coming on unnecessarily.

It's doing it again. Don't take it to Best Buy. The Geek Squad knows nothing.

OK so this phone has been out for a year but it hasn't even been released in the USA yet. So what?? As it is it exceeds or matches most of Nokia's offerings already so I don't understand why everybody and his uncle are crying over this. I think Nokia's Lumia's are as exciting as a bucket of water, there I said it. Nokia can't seem to make up there minds on what they are making phones or camera's! When I want to capture memories I'm NOT reaching for a damn cell phone, I'll use one of the 3 camera's I own. Taking pix with your cell is just a convenience not a make or break issue. Now that I've read the article I do understand some things though. I had no idea the manufacturers cannot tamper with the OS so they have to make the phone stand out hardware wise. This is a great idea that way no matter what phone you buy you get the same Windows experience. I really wish MS had chosen some other company to build it's "flagship" phones, that way we might actually get something other than a camera you can make calls with. The ASUS Padfone would have been AWESOME!
