RIM BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 Review

0. phoneArena posted on 13 Jul 2009, 06:16

In their quest to penetrate the consumer market you can now add RIM to the list of these outliers; they introduced the Pearl Flip last year on T-Mobile. In terms of features it’s basically identical to the RIM BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230, the difference here is form factor. Will this be enough to breathe life into the aging Pearl?

I don't understand how the keyboard can be even more cramped when it is twice as big as the original?? And how can it have a good feel in hand but still feel cheap??

its just basic crap reviews, no biggie. the keyboard is not the same size as the pearl, it is so much easier to use. if you ever take the time to learn the suretype its actually a very nice way to key in things. i use that on my storm 100x more than the regular keyboard.

Yeah I had the BlackBerry Pearl a year ago and I was flyin on SureType! But I ended up switching to the HTC Touch and I still use the 20 key QWERTY Board. But I am going to upgrade soon and do you think I should get the Pearl Flip, Touch Diamond, or Touch Pro?? I am on Alltel by the way =) Thanks!!
