I owned 8530 before I had the 9330. There is a marked improvement with the 9330. The processor is twice as fast but the real difference is not seen until you upgrade from the BlackBerry 5.0 to the 6.0 OS. The phone is fun to use and very efficient with communications, text, e-mail etc. The browser is good for what I need it for. Learn to use this devise properly and it will serve you well. I've never had either of my Blackberry’s freeze up. I'll be upgrading to the newest BB Bold soon.
