I agree, if you are a 99% txter and 1% talker, then this phone would be really cool. Like the Intrigue, it is unique and nothing else is like if so you would stand out.

My hinge broke in 3 weeks, and Verizon won't replace it - calls it "damage," not defective design. Stinks.

It was fine the first like 10 times you open it and has fun apps and is cool light and ect everything is fine except the durability of the phone SUCKS SO MUCH!!! It broke... In 2!!! the screen off of the key pad at where it twists. THIS PHONE IS NOT FOR A HEAVY TEXT-ER OR SOMEONE WHO USES THEIR PHONE OFTEN. I would NOT recommend this phone to anyone. BECAUSE IT WILL NOT LAST. you open it a few times it is very weak and does not do good opening and closing a lot.. so basically you cant use your phone. i loved it the first day i had it ... had it for a little while after .. its crap. Don't get it .. i hate flip phones.. but i would have so rather have a flip than this.

Absolutely do not buy this phone. It breaks every 30 -40 days and neither Nokia nor Verizon will replace with a different model. WE are on the 6th replacement phone in less than a year!! I am fighting with Nokia and Verizon to get a phone that might actually last. Do not buy this phone!!

I've had this phone for over two years, and though I'm not a heavy texter or caller (I generally talk to a person every other day for twenty minutes or so and occasionally text.) I think it really is great.
When I text, I'm very picky about my spelling and grammar, and the keyboard is very easy to use for my long texts. The contact light ring was my favorite thing about it (imagine-necklace phone!) and it's perfect for my needs.
People say the hings is flimsy, but I haven't had any trouble with it even though I tend to abuse it. I sometimes hold it and flip it open and closed when I'm concentrating on something (maybe the noise is soothing to me or something. No idea). I also flex the two components apart when it's open (I'm simply asking for it to break, aren't I?), and I have had no problem with the hinge.
I have two complaints: one, the touch sensitive left and right keys are a nuisance, as adressed in this articlae, and two, the mirror is in a position to get a lot of smearing. After two years of no care, the mirror is pretty much ruined on my phone. I can barely see anything reflected now. Perhaps other people take better care of their mirrors, though.
I just wanted to say that I love this phone and it has held for the past two years with much wear and tear, working perfectly fine.
