LG Optimus G vs HTC One X

Never thought of as being one of the premier players in the Android sphere, LG’s reputation is seemingly going in the correct direction with the LG Optimus G. For once, they really have the upper hand, as they’re the first ones to come to market with an Android smartphone that blends a quad-core processor with 4G LTE connectivity. Fittingly, we’re pitting LG’s prodigy with HTC’s current flagship device in the HTC One X – mainly to distinguish which of the two can actually reign supreme over the other...

like any android phones the LG optimus G is a rushed phone. Sure, it has a brand new processor but look at everything else: bad call quality, lag luster battery life, a OK camera...etc. I mean this is supposed to be LG's "BIG ONE" yet every review I have read about it says "there is nothing to write home about" LOL maybe android manufacturer can take some note on optimization from Apple

HTC One X: Mirror Mirror on the wall, who Is the fairest of them all?
- You, my HOX, are fair; it is true.
But J Butterfly is even fairer than you.

Nice comparison but premium design and feel of Optimus G with it's toilet-like tiles in the back and plastic feel? Yes it's gorilla glass and it feels plasticy not glassy :) Plus the SLCD2 is better in my opinion.

My first LG device might be the Nexus 4, only because it has google firmware not LG firmware.
LG has yet to convince me they've improved on their support and android update release times, so neg for me.

I would never pick the one x over the G. Maybe the one x +

Phone arena is so biased to everyone but htc. Im an android user but LG's interface is very ugly and horrible to use. Not even on par with Sense or Touchwiz

Buy either and replace the OS with vanila Android 4.1 nd you'll have one sweet-ass phone. Both have outstanding hardware.
Just avoid the S3. Flimsy piece of crap.

I find it pretty crazy how the one x still puts up a fight against all these newer phones (note II, s3, optmus g etc) Somewhat understandably so but what about Sprints Evo LTE? Its a better version of the one x. I dont get it. Not to mention if it wasnt for Sprints original evo none of the higher end htc phones would even exist.

I have the Sprint EvoLTE and the international quad core OneX. The EvoLTE is nice but I just got the Jelly Bean update on my One X and the phone is just a beast! I went and used it side by side against the One X+ and Antutu marks were almost identical and the X+ didn't feel as solid as mine. It was a floor sample though. We will have to see if/when the EvoLTE gets JB update if it provides the same boost it did to the quad core One X. I am still torn between the Optimus G and X+ but LG did do a nice job with the phone. The screen caught my eye from across the store
