With the announcement of the brand spanking new 2014 edition of the HTC One, the Taiwanese based company has something original and fresh that’s absolutely different from what we’ve seen elsewhere. Enter the HTC Dot View case, a peculiar looking thing that delivers a retro-like dot matrix feel with its protective front cover – dishing up some delightful notifications, gestures, and information...

I think the front looks nice
But I agree the back looks really cheap, especially since the M8's backs aluminium

Yeah the case just looks cheap. However, it'll save some battery for people who check the time a lot like me haha

The M8 has a SLCD, so doesn't that mean it would use the same amount power as turning the screen on

Its a pretty cool case, but I can't bring myself to cover up my M8 beast that is heading to me and the wifey. Both will be rocking naked phones!

This is such nitpicking I know, but there's no such time as 09:14 p.m. 09:14 is by default a.m. So I can't possibly buy this phone.

It's definitely... interesting... The problem with it though is that it looks incredibly unprofessional. When you use your device for work, it's probably not for the best if your phone case makes it look like a Lite Brite.

That's a good point. A phone newer than HTC One Max made by HTC and they left it out? Well I guess because it wasn't in a convenient position like the S5 or the 5S for the example (haha...S5 and 5S)

I have to agree that this actually looks fresh and quite awesome. On par with Samsung's S-View covers
