Giving Xperia U a rate of 7.5 while HTC Desire C is 8? Why? and How? Xperia U's display, camera, and processor. The things that Xperia U lacks with are microSD slot and ICS. But ICS will come to it in a little time. I don't really get why.

why do you not read the HOW WE RATE article under every phone rating? this got an 8 in terms of LOW-END devices and the xperia U got a 7.5 in terms of MID-RANGE devices!!! yeesh

I based it on the price, not on the classifications. Which are almost close to each other.

oh, then if that's your basis, why don't you get out of here and make your own phone rating website?

different sites, different rules, kiddo.. don't be sour..

It's not his comment; it's the website's classification basis.

Try to pay attention a little more.

Really bad device for it's price. 8/10 is too much.

yeah the price is more nearer to lower mid rangers and its specs are not equal. there shouldve been 800mhz at least...

8/10 is rather generous don't you think?

7/10 seems better

At least they bumped the screen size up, if it really a spiritual successor to the wildfire. I wish they had bumped the processor up a little, but I guess it's a more of a budget device...Does look slick though!

The galaxy mini 2 also uses the same processor running at 800mhz.
PLEASE FIND A WAY TO OVERCLOCK THAT PROCESSOR TO 800MHZ

It isn't overrated because Android 4.0 largely adds to it's value and that's something no other budget smartphone has yet. The only letdown I see is the 600mHz processor but on the other hand Sense 4 makes it look like a premium budget device.

Uh? The Xperia Ray is MUCH better. It was recently updated to ICS, and has seen a great price drop to less than $250, i've seen it new for $230. Granted, it has a narrower screen, but the 3.3 inch screen has 854x480 resolution and almost 300 ppi. It has a 1ghz processor, and greatly optimized, handles flash like a champ. It has an 8mpx camera with 720p recording. The design is equal or better, and for those who care, it's thinner and should look more attractive. That score is too generous for the price tag, you really need to take older phones into consideration more, given the crazy price drops they usually get.

I'm having a Desire C as a standby handset connected to Internet 24/7. Its battery backup is excellent. 3days 11hrs 59mins and still 67% left. No calls were made. Only using for Browsing. Thumbs Up for me.

This phone is £150-£200 that's pretty bad for the price considering the xperia tipo has the same processor at 800mhz, ICS, the same amount of RAM, equal if not better build quality, same resoultion screen and a better pixel density all for £90

For that little amount of money I did not expect a miracle, However, I was really impressed by that phone, I have it now for about 1 month .. Its actually pretty awesome, Though sometimes when You override the processor/ram limits it gets a little slow but it recovers fast to its normal condition, and it doesn't have a second camera or an LED flash, However the 5 mega-pixels camera preform good enough .. But i'v got my digital camera so i don't actually care about that .. I totally recommend this phone specially in case You don't care about the camera

I still wonder with its 600Mhz processor it doesn't lag and 1230MAh battery it lasts around 1.5-2 days after fair usage. this is called "Quietly brilliant"
