True dual-sim (simultaneous connection)

I am new to this site so thank you to anybody for taking the time to read my first post.

I am very keen to find a dual-sim phone that offers 'true' dual-sim capability. By this I mean the ability send and receive data from both sim cards simultaneously (dual transceiver).

So far I have battled through a web of mixed opinion with statements that dual-active is the definition of my request although I disagree.

A company that I am sure you will be aware of, Verzio, have released handsets (Duplii, Duplii Exec and Twinn) that are capable of simultaneous connection of both sim cards at the same time; they are however poorly designed in my opinion.

I am wondering if there are any other companies pursuing or have pursued such an avenue and whether there is a handset out there with better design / support?

Any help with this will be greatly appreciated,
