There was once a time when I would have never said this, but it is sadly true... the N8 has serious hardware issues (screen problems, battery problems, power-on issues, etc...), obselete software (Symbian^3 will be gone, supported only until 2016 at best), and is honestly not worth the money. Nice camera, but with a dying platform.

As much as I dislike iOS, between the two of those, I have to say go for the iPhone4.
