Verizon Data Plan

JBmiddy23 22 Jul 2012, 19:12 posted on

I currently have a 300MB data plan, and was looking to upgrade my old phone. It was my understanding that only the unlimited data plan users were affected by the data plan haulover that took place June 28th. However, Verizon insists I need to change my data plan if I choose to upgrade. How can I gain leverage on this sitation?

Thank you!

Smart phones need at least one GB. 300MB is only for basic phones.

To correct Hollywould, even a smartphone can be on a 300 MB plan. The only way one would need to change the plan to 1GB would be if TWO smartphones are on a Share Everything Plan. Then the lowest plan they can be under is 1GB. Hope this is some clarification!
