Since ATT is about to lose iPhone exclusitiviy to Verizon, why aren't they releasing any great Android phones? The Captivate was ok but buggy. They could use better HTC phones like the HTC Incredible or EVO (Sprint). If they don't keep up, I may be moving to a new network soon.

i would not move networks, because if you were doing your research there are going to be 2 major, and i mean major, android phones coming to AT&T, the ACER liquid metal, with froyo in december, and the even better phone, the MOTOROLA OLYMPUS with gingerbread and a tegra2 processor coming in January! so just be patient. and dude the EVO is old and the incredible is way overated, and don't move to sprint there covrerage is a little lacking

If AT&T can add gorilla glass and make the phone water resistant up to 5 feet (like T-Mobile's Moto Defy), then it would probably be the best phone produced for the year!

drew do you have info on either of those phones? I'd like to see pics and any other info on them. Are both going to have froyo or are they going to be upgraded to either gingerbread or honeycomb?

Becuase our main consumer phone is the iPhone and it is going to verizon, i really hope that AT&T will pick up a gsm version of the droid 2, with maybe some new features. ATT needs to pick up a good motorola android. Yes i know about the olympus which is like the droid X, but maybe possibly we will release a gsm version of the droid 2 around february, about a month after the olympus, just like the droid X and the droid 2 for verizon. We need a sturdy motorola android phone, one that is jam-packed with a huge screen like the droid X and one that is jam-packed with a keyboard. That is was i believe we really need,

just look up ACER Liquid Metal and you'll see it, it has a 3.6 inch screen and stainless steel back and it looks quite nice, it has Acer's BREEZE UI which seems cool too, and no Motorola Olympus images are out yet, but there are some specifications like front-facing camera, 4.1 inch screen, and what not
i agree, that sounds pretty nice, i think i'm actually sticking to Windows Phone 7 tho, but Android is still an option
