Screen lock problem

Please help. I have a problem, if i press and hold the end call button more than 6 or 7 seconds my wave shuts down even when the screen is locked, and that really bothers me ...

The Samsung Wave gt-s8500 does not have phone backup . This is a very important feature that Samsung missing. Any idea how we can backup phone contacts data ?
