Size too big?

GalaxySIIPotentialBuyer (unregistered) 11 May 2011, 16:33 posted on

I have yet to see one in person, and I doubt the store would let me put one in my pocket to test. Is this phone too big to fit comfortably in a front pocket? Any experiences?

No, it's a good size, not too big not too small. I own this phone.

You might have trouble with the Dell Streak, but my friend has it and it fits. So if a 5in. phone fits in the front pocket so can a 4.3in and no trouble.

I have one, and fits in the front pocket no problem - but you are definitely not gonna hide it in there ;-)

The phone is quite lightweight for its size, and it does not feel too big.
the extra screen size comes in handy for web browsing, watching videos etc.

as for the battery life its on par with my previous phones (htc desire, iphone 3gs)

however network signal strength is a huge factor when trying to determine battery life.
The worse the signal, the more battery will be consumed.

This is caused by the fact that a phone will increase its RF output to compensate for lower signal strength.
wifi, bluetooth etc. will also shorten your battery life if they are enabled.
