480x800 resolution?

There is no way a company like Samsung would waste a 4.52 inch screen by having it display at 480x800.

If it does... why make the screen slightly larger than the current version?
My G2 has a 3.7 inch display running 800x480.
I guess I don't need this "upgrade".

The G2 doesnt have a dual core quallcom preocessor clocked at 1.5gigs per core, nor does it have a gig of RAM. The GSII or better known as the Samsung Hercules is a BEAST phone, G2 is just ok. :)

plus if they upgraded the resolution it would decrease battery life, and with the extreme hardware inside the phone it that would most likely be quite noticable. in all honesty, on a screen that size, the human eye would have a very hard time seeing a noticable difference in quality of resolution. your looking at a mini handheld HD samsung TV already, thats saying a lot. No need to raise costs, decrease battery life and rearrange hardware for such a small difference. i would chuck the G2 for the Hercules any day.
