Pretty good phone...

katrid has owned it for less than month before publishing this review

I bought this phone about a month ago...for it's price, I'd say it's a good deal. It's my first smart phone personally, but I've played around with enough of them to know that this one's not too shabby...my only complaint is the battery life, which seems to drain fast even when you're not using the phone at all...which kinda sucks. You have to turn the brightness down nearly all the way, and then the battery life really improves, but then you can barely see the screen in daylight. Overall, it's a great phone.

Build quality 10/10 I've dropped it a few times and it's held up very nicely...no dings or scratches yet...

Reception 5/10 This rating isn't really the phone's fault...my carrier sucks...

Call quality 5/10 Same as reception

Internet 7/10 Super fast when I'm in wifi hotspots, but kinda slow and sometimes doesn't work at all if I'm not in wifi area.

Multimedia 10/10 excellent

Camera 10/10 SUPER excellent.

UI speed 10/10 Fast response

Everyday usage 8/10 Don't get this phone if you mainly use your phone to go on the interwebz...you'll be pulling your hair out...but for those who like texting, IMing, chit-chatting, with the occasional usage of things like FB and gmail, then this phone is stellar.

Text input 7/10 I hate how slim the keys are. For people who have chunky fingers or are just clumsy when texting, you'll be frustrated...

Display 10/10 Nice and big without being TOO big

Battery 6/10 Only thing about the phone that sucks. You can charge the phone to full capacity, stick it in your purse and not touch it for an hour or so, then whip it out and it's at 40% battery life...no bueno.

• battery life is too short if brightness isn't turned almost all the way down
