First, you'll want to make sure your phone is in 'Advanced' mode. To do this, press the Menu button, then select Settings. On the Settings menu, select Phone Mode. Select Advanced Mode and then click Save. This should return you to the home screen.

Now select Menu again. You'll notice the menu is changed. We'll need to find Setting again. This will now be found on page 3 of the menu (either page forward 2 or back 1). Select Settings once you find it. Within the Settings menu, select Phone (should be the 5th option), then select Time & Date. Scroll to the bottom of the Time & Date page and turn off Auto-Update. This allows you to manually change the date in this page. Make sure to save all changes!
