Dots on pantech ease

Does anybody know what the dots are at the top of the pantech ease near the speaker on the front of the phone? ITs driving me crazy not knowing.

it is to video share But how do yhu activate video share?.

I know one dot is for sensing how much light is coming in, so when you are talking on the phone and your ear is covering the dot, it will turn off the screen to save energy.

Both dots are for sensing your face when on a call, to stop the back-light on the screen and the touch screen function.
