Close but no cigar

Pantech is just so close. So close. The design of this phone is amazing. It's got curves, it's a 4.8" device but smaller than most of it's size. On screen keys are amazing. AT&T is a great network especially since this device will have 4G LTE. It has expandable storage.

However it falls short by not including a larger battery. It falls short by shipping with ICS which is over a year old now. Also, the rear camera is 13mp. amazing yet it doesn't include a flash. What were they thinking? I understand including a 2100 mah battery. That's kind of the trend. but ICS? No flash? Boggles my mind.

So I must correct some of my complaints. First, the battery is removable so arguing over how long it will last doesn't really matter as $20 for a second battery will last all day. 2nd, ICS is still quite old but still manageable especially if it gets any dev support at all. 3rd, Phonearena has their information wrong. The camera does have a flash after all. So revaluating, the only thing worth complaining with this phone is the outdated OS which doesn't matter so much to me since I root every phone I have. So, I'm good.
