Frustrations caused by the phone

I bought a Nokia C7 about 3 months my excitement is all gone and the sad thing is i have the phone on contract with my service provider. There are days(more often than not) when the screen will be on but somehow the phone is off as i will receive sms from friends requesting callback or voice messages. Sometimes the screen will be on, the phone ringing from the caller's end but no sign of a phone call from my side and no missed call logged. I have actually trie to call myself, at one instance the phone was on but it went straight to voice mail and the other time, it did not show any incoming call but it was ringing on my land line. I am so frustrated, at times am tempted to through it out of the window.
