this phone ROCKS!!!

itz a must have phone... its introductory price was Rs.15,000{in India}. but now it's available for around Rs.12,500... if in the power saver mode(you have to download the battery monitor from the ovi store, which by the way is free), it can easily go for 3 days....
in short itz an AWSM PHONE!!!!!

Coolest phone everrrrrrrrrrrrr

I bought this phone a month back, wanted to try a new OS (had changed 2 android phones). The build quality and display is awesome.... Yet to update the FP2 pack...Nokia should introduce more phomes on this platform...Symbian has got a good future...

NOKIA 603 is the best in its class

Nokia 603 is one of the best phones available in the market at this price range. It gives you with its newly updated Belle OS(updated to Belle FP2 or REFRESH), none of the android phones will ever provide, i m not talking directly about the features, but the feel and the build quality, the style and the presentation, it just feels so BOLD and EASY to use.
The TECH SPECS, Well, u have got loads of features packed in this lovely gadget, which you can go through above in the summary. A 1GHz processor (1.3GHz after update to BELLE FEATURE PACK 2, which is available for free), makes the phone run incredibly fast and smooth, no glitches, nothing. A 5 MP camera, though it lacks a flash, but it still manages to take decent photos and records HD 720p videos, which are stunning, even the sound quality is fantastic, due to the presence of dual microphones. Other features are NFC, A-GPS, NOKIA MAPS(free for lifetime), IPS LCD SCREEN, with a brightness of a 1000 nits, which is mindblowing. The display is just a treat for the eyes, its awesome, There are many other features which are amazing. The media player plays HD 720p files of any major file types(.avi,.mkv,.wmv,.flv,.mp4) which is pretty cool. The battery backup is also impressive, can go for almost 2 days, or maybe even 3, with normal internet, music, texts, emails and stuffs. The build quality is sturdy and its looks are stunning. One more very important thing is that, the price range which is around 13000 and it that u get ALL of this.

Simply Mindblowing....

Bought exactly 1 month ago shifting from sony xperia neo v (which has very bad build quality) just got amazed buy its multitasking capability , amazing soung quality and its premium feel in hands..
Only lack is unavailibility of some latest andriod and ios games...
Just want nokia to continue its development
and they should give quality update like FP 2...

Build quality 10/10 Solid well designed resembels nokia lumia 710 which is good...

Reception 10/10 Amazing

Call quality 10/10 Good

Internet 10/10 Very fast at data transfer speed of 14.4 mbps ...

Multimedia 10/10 Have all multimedia feautes with good audio quality..

Camera 10/10 Takes very good shots after belle fp 2 update....

UI speed 10/10 Very fast... never lags like midrange andriod

Everyday usage 10/10 Simple and best

Amazing Mobile

I buy this mobile using "PhoneArena", I am glad to having such type of grate Mobile,
One is missing that LED Flash is not available on this mobile, & Camera has 5MP But whene we capture Images's Resolution is small, If we increase resolution than camera use 3.2MP so, That's not good, But In 3.2MP Photos will Very Good Quality.

Good features,
Good Quality ,
and after update to fp1 working like android phones lovely, and now i updated with fp2 and its awesome really believe me superb touch and everything is superb..thumps up
another word for this phone "Buy"

So, i recommend all people to buy this less price phone with many great features,
Superb Phone love it...

Nokia 603 - a World-Class Smartphone

I Love this phone!!!
Great upgrade for Symbian users to a modern, world-class platform that has all the basics of calling, messaging, video and music, tubing... covered! Yes, it doesn't have the 1,000,000+ apps of the iPhone, but you'd already have that if you wanted to play games all day. For the rest of us doing work, the free offline-able GPS maps, etc. get us through life quickly and effortlessly.
Built-in, capable video editor app does a great job vs. iMovie, and the rest of the features are solid. Phone is fast, display is gorgeous, easily direct sunlight readable and pure blacks even better than the iPhone 4s while the screen is just as bright! Only OLEDs can do a bit better here at $$$$.
True 16:9 widescreen display resolution = no video letterboxing! And free apps let me download tube videos for offline viewing at 720p easily! PDF browsing works great on 300+ page ebooks, though missing the extracted text only viewing of GoodReader. Resolution is sufficiently crisp to let you read 1mm tall text fine, and otherwise, HD-like crisp and jaggies free at normal viewing distances.
The best Belle for the price point and an excellent phone choice for those trying to get away from the others (various reasons perhaps include: Android Open Bugs list has 10,000+ defects listed & quickly abandoned un-upgradable models. Can't drag&drop media into iPhones and WPs, BB's are just too obsolete, etc.).

Build quality 10/10 Solid plastic build, beautiful curves and back color choices, great design - lighter than iPhone 3Gs, feels slim, fits pocket great, easy to get back on and off for battery access.

Reception 9/10 Does drop a call here and there on the freeway over 3G mode - could be spotty carrier coverage however.

Call quality 9/10 Rather good overall, but the speakerphone isn't as rich as the iPhone 3Gs's (ie. less bass). It is loud, so no problems hearing it in very noisy environments. Other party says I'm clear and easily understood.

Internet 10/10 Works. Built-in browser has Flash, and Opera Mobile runs great =)

Multimedia 10/10 Pretty much drag & drop media into the memory and play! Can't be harder than that! Supports a wide range of media, including H.264 720p and the usual MP3s.

Camera 10/10 As good as the iPhone 3Gs's 5MP, and no autofocus lag to worry about! Everything's always sharp and in focus! Yea!

UI speed 10/10 For a single-core CPU, runs a fast as the slew of single-core Windows Phones out there at 1Ghz. Smooth & fast. Naturally, quad-core phones are faster, but not a fair comparison. More than fast enough to not be annoying.

Everyday usage 10/10 Ah!!!! One green button press always brings up the Dialpad from any application! I love it! Can make phone calls w/o clicking forever to get at a dialpad. SMS, browsing, radio, mp3, etc. all work great.

Text input 10/10 Portrait and landscape qwerty, swype, and T9. All the bases covered!

Display 10/10 Short of a very slightly better OLED, ClearBlack IPS displays are the bomb! Rich, pure blacks under almost all conditions except 100% darkness at night, and 800 nits equals and slightly brighter than even an iPhone 4S on max brightness! =)

Battery 9/10 Runs for a day on regular usage, but can run out in 5-7 hours if you're playing videos, GPS navigating, downloading tube videos, etc.

This phone is awesome, using it from almost 2 and a half months, gra8 reception, internet, excellent working HD games, excellent speed, There is battery problem, i need to charge it on daily basis but other then battery its performance is wonderful, Camera result is fine for me but it would be more impressive with LED Flash, which is not there.Overall it is excellent phone within this price range.

A very Good All-Rounder

A very good smartphone in such a price range.Obviously better than the previous nokia smart phones such as Nokia c7 and the Android smartphones in this price range such as Samsung Galaxy Ace.Really a very bright phone with HD video performance and HD games.NFC,TV-Out and USB OTG are new features only the thing that is missing the Camera Flash.

Build quality 9/10 Its a simply designed phone but I personally think that its design should be like Nokia c7.

Reception 10/10 It has an excellent reception quality.

Call quality 10/10 Very good call quality with it dedicated mic.

Internet 9/10 Very good browsing experience on its native browser.I mostly use opera browser.The browsing experience is really good but If I opens more than 7 tabs of desktop view than the phone restarts.Overall OK with the internet experience.

Multimedia 9/10 The sound is reaching clear but not very loud.Video result is excellent.

Camera 8/10 The zoom should be greater than 2x and also the camera is missing flash.

UI speed 10/10
