LOOOOOOVE it

This is by far the best phone known to man. loveeeeee it.

Every thing about this phone rocks. the camera is so so, texting is fabulas, and callings are very decent.

Th keyboard is the pefect size to text easily.

The front screen is an improvement from the enV2. It is bigger and you can do more with it.

Pros

  • EVERYTHING

Cons

  • Music Problems

Poor 4.3

I give it a 5 out of 10.

First time in 20 years I stepped away from Motorola and I will take the phone back for another model, maybe another brand.

My work requires me to take alot of pictures and videos of items we have sold or are looking to buy. I have to send them to the office or to customers on the spot. Camera is so so if you open the phone, becareful to not get hand in way. Video has poor sound and is dark. It is hard to handle when taking pics and videoing.

The talk features are as good as any other phone I have had. I have had this phone for 2 weeks.

Don't get this phone if you need a good camera for pics and vids.

Pros

  • easy txing and handling during phone calls.
  • Good reception.

Cons

  • Camera setup is not well thought out.
  • Video is poor. What you see in view finder is not what comes out in video. Way darker & poor sound.

The LG enV3 is the best phone Verizon has produced so far. I cannot tell you how much I love it. Actually, I will.

The LG enV3 comes in to slick colors: slate blue and maroon. To start off, the LG enV3 turns on reletivly fast and turns off ONLY when you tell it to. On rare occasions, the phone “has been know” to do this. Not for me! The battery life is very good- I’ve been texting non-stop from 8 am to 5 pm and it just turned to one battery life. When I plugged it in, it charged in under ½ and hour.

The keyboard is so easy to type with. The only problem I have with it is that I hit enter every time I try to hit l. <-- that’s an L. The big screens are another big plus. It is very easy to personalize the menu, font, sounds, and dozens of other things. You have tons of space for contacts, and you can record songs to use as your ring tone. I love how loud it is.

The only problems I have is that the vibrate is too faint, its hard to download music from the computer, and the whole keyboard thing.

Pros

  • every thing

Cons

  • vibrate
  • downloads

ENV 3

If your using these with a bluetooth like Motorola 710  , h12 or h17 . be aware that when you have a call come in and you missed the call ,  until you remove the missed call your bluetooth will become inoperable. Same thing say if you are driving down the road and you get a tet from verizon telling you your bill is ready, your blue tooth will not work even 911 tell you remove it from your phone. Hands free ??? hands free is new law in some states.   called tech. at verizon didn't have a clue to what to do. sorry.

Pros

  • tet with keyboard works good.

Cons

  • bluetooth doesn't work right.

I have never had a worst phone in my life. i had the enV2 and loved it but this phone is so different and the keyboard is awful. I really do not recomened anyone to ever purchase this phone. If there was anyway for me to go back to my old phone I would because this is the worst cell I have ever tried to use. As soon as I can get a new phone I will.

Not so great...

I had 4 phones of the Env2, i switched to the Env3 by updating my account. Honestly, the env2 was better about cutting off. I cannot touch the Env3 without it turning off. But, when I want it to turn off, it won't. I don't understand. All of a sudden, my received calls were not going through and it'd freeze all the time. I was in Verizon explaining my problems and sure enough it showed itself and wouldn't do anything correct. They gave me the opportunity to get a new one because "this is a new model and it shouldn't have all these problems." The camera is amazing. But, when you switch it to video, things get darker and there's really no point in recording. It won't let you record during a conversation, and is different in all the wrong ways. I suggest don't bother getting the Env3 unless you want to be like the all the others and have negative comments about the phone.

Pros

  • great camera, bigger screens, pretty good features.

Cons

  • freezes, turns off, won't allow received calls.

love this phone!!! ☺☺☺ Very happy with it! ☺☺

I just got this phone before the school year of 2009! Wow, it is amaziingg~ the only bad thing i can say bout it is that when it turns on it takes a few seconds longer than i would like but that might just be me. This phone is very modern and high-tech but is great for communication. I haven't had one call dropped or lost so connection is very good anywhere.  Great tools like- alarm clock, calender, and recodring sounds to use as ringtones. Love this phone. 10 out of 10.

Pros

  • *great size- fits in pocket without hanging out
  • *Qwerty keyboard is really handy for texting lovers ;)
  • *comes with 2 demos of tetris and pacman that are VERY addicting
  • *love the slate blue color
  • *has been dropped on concrete ground and has barely scratched it
  • *

Cons

  • *takes a little longer to turn on
  • *camera quality is ok... it would be better if it has more features and fun borders

Don't waste your time

I have had this phone for about 4 months and I am going on my fourth phone. My first one would freeze and shut off randomly. When I got a replacement for that one (phone #2) it randomly would shut off every once in awhile but not enough to cause a huge problem,.However, within the last couple weeks it just all of a sudden wouldn't make/receive calls or texts. So after three or four calls to Verizon they sent me a new phone (phone #3). Three days after receiving the new replacement phone, it starts doing the exact same thing (not making/receiving calls or texts even though I have service). I know it's the phone because my neighbors upstairs have a new EnV 3 and I used it to call Verizon while my phone layed on my lap and wouldn't connect. The service technician I spoke with tonight tried telling me that it would possibly be two weeks before someone could come and inspect the tower, and thats all he could do for me. Obviously its not the tower. So after explaining that I travel 6.5 hours in deer-infested South Dakota to drive home, he agreed to send me another replacement which probably won't work either (phone #4). I am beyond fuming and sooo disappointed that I spent damn near $400 on the EnV 3 only to have it be the biggest waste of plastic I've ever bought. So, if you love making friends with the Verizon Wireless support crew, then buy the EnV 3. If you have a life and expect to have your phone work when you need it, don't waste your time.

Great when it works

I love it when it works but I have had this phone for 3 months and I am on my third phone.  I have had LG phones for years and never had a single problem.  Now it is messing up again.  I cannot save pics to the memory card.  It freezes up and I went to the Verizon store and they told me I have to wait for a software update.  It is a known problem with no fix.  Great.  If there was any way of getting away from this phone without paying big $ I would do it.

Good Phone

Great phone for texting. The phone usually pocket dials too much. If their is a setting for a password that would be nice. The camera is great for outdoor still pictures. The video quality is okay. I love how you can set short cuts so that you cant go on to the internet. The unlimited texting plan is great. I like the phone, but the front screen scratches easily.

Pros

  • Great still pictures, okay video, Great texting phone, sound quality is good for quite sounds.

Cons

  • Front screen Scratches easily (I would get a phone protector) unlocks easily for pocket dialing. Low sound is loud.

Good, reliable phone

I went from a Dare to this phone because the touch screen on the dare just wasn't my thing. It's nice that I have the option to open the Env3 up and use the qwerty keypad when I want to but at the same time I can also text like I used to on my 8300 which I had before the Dare from the front keypad as well. The buttons are perfect size and the phone is very sleek and elegant, and easy on the eyes which is always a good plus. It is also very durable, I don't think twice before I let my daughter play with it when she wants to.

Pros

  • Easy to use, stylish, perfect size. Easy to text, and very reliable and durable.

Cons

  • When using the camera, a lot of times your fingers get in the way. I also wish there were more apps for it because for all the comercials they had about apps for the Env3 and Env Touch there really isn't very many good ones at all.

env 3 is pretty good

The Env 3 is a pretty good phone.

The battery usually lasts me between 2 to 3 days. That being said i'm not using the phone a whole lot so i'd say average use.  40 minutes of talking and about 20 text messages a day.

The picture quality is very good.
The sound quality is pretty good.

Cons:
The camera is sometimes covered by my finger when I try and take pictures.

The volume on the lowest level is LOUD.  This may be good for some but I get headaches from loud things.

Pros

  • Battery life is good
  • The picture quality is very good.
  • The sound quality is pretty good.

Cons

  • The camera is sometimes covered by my finger when I try and take pictures.
  • The volume on the lowest level is LOUD. This may be good for some but I get headaches from loud things.

good phone but has flaws that could be deal breakers

i was really looking forward to this phone and got it a couple of weeks after it was released. i loved the phone itself but i couldnt get over the fact that it doesnt save words in the T9 dictionary, which is a standard feature on almost every phone. and to me a phone of this price should have such a standard feature. another thing i didnt like was that the camera took horrible indoor pictures for a 3 meg phone. my voyager has a 2 meg camera and takes outstanding pictures compared to the enV3.

Pros

  • nice keyboards.
  • feels well built.
  • nice size.
  • somewhat good battery life.

Cons

  • takes fuzzy indoor pictures.
  • does not save words in the T9 dictionary.
  • 2.5 mm headphone jack.

I've had this phone for 3 months and I'm still loving it. Frome the camera to the browser, 3.0 cam with a flash this looks better than some 5.0 phone cams. If you are looking for a phone where you can browse the internet with ease, check email, blast through a text using the full qwerty keyboard and snap some good picks. Then this is the phone for you. It also has great battery life (over 5 hour of talk time) Halla.

Pros

  • featues and easy to use.

Cons

  • none.

Great phone.   Had it for about two weeks and it is probably the best phone I have ever had.   Great design, keyboard is awsome and it is everything I really need in a phone.  small and compact.  It doesn't feel cheap and it is overall a strong phone that I feel will hold up for the two years that I am locked into.

Pros

  • Great keyboard
  • Nice Screen

  • 3.0 camera

LG ENV3 always powering down/shutting off

I've owned this phone for 3 weeks and it has started the same shut down issue that I've been reading about. I took it to Verizon and they said it was old software and did the update. Then 2 days later it started again. The phone was really nice. But no it it is really becoming a pain. I find it off sometimes 4 times a day.  There isn't a mark on it it's never been dropped or left in the sun. I think this design is just faulty.  If it didn't have the power problem this would be the nicest phone I've owned>

Pros

  • Easy to use, Nice design, has alot of features, always has signal no dropped calls (unless it powers down)

Cons

  • Reliabilty, (randomly powering down) Speaker volume sometimes quiet sometimes louder.

Good 7

I got the nv3 10 days ago. I got it as an upgrade for my last lg phone. The phone has all the features I want, but it keeps giving me a big problem! I like to set my friends/family in my contact list with a separate ringtone. I had my last phone set like this and loved being able to know who was calling without having to check the phone to see who was calling me. When I set the nv3 up to do this, it worked for a few hours and then went back to the defaut ringtone. I reset it, and later that day it went to the default ringtone again. I took it back to verizon and they gave me a new phone in it's place. I set this phone up and it did the exact same thing as my first phone. I went by the verizon store again, they did a software update and the phone seemed to work great. 12 hrs later, the phone has went back to the defalt ring once more! I called verizon, they said if I would like to try the same phone again, I could. But she also said that if the next one gave me anymore problems that they would suggest that I go with a totally different phone (not another nv3.) They said they haven't had anyone else to have this same problem, so I hope maybe I'm the only one who lost out on this phone.

Pros

  • Love the design, the sound, camera. I really like the phone.

Cons

  • Hate the problems with the ringtones not working right. I would keep this phone if it wasn't for this problem.

I love this phone, but have had issues with it shutting itself off up to 5 times a day. I'm currently on my third one, I had this issue with the enV2 also. It's not a huge deal just a pain in the butt when you realize your phone has been off and someone was supposed to have called or you had a calendar event you missed.

good phone but bad voice recognition

i like most of the phone features.   the camera takes good pix but the lens is in an awkward position.   the only thing that i REALLY DONT LIKE IS THE VOICE RECOGNITION SYSTEM.   i have taught this phone my voice commands at least a half dozen times and it still doesnt understand my commands when i am driving.   (i have a very quiet car,   and i have even tried changing to a fancy Plantronics noise cancelling headset........and its still not much better.)   it seems to work best with an old cheap wired headset.this is very disappointing because its one of those features that i DEPEND on.   my old phones had better voice recognition than this new one.

Pros

  • easy to use. looks like a std phone from the outside and leaves the complicated keyboard on the inside. (i dont need my glasses to make a phone call.) Good mp camera with a flash!

Cons

  • the camera lense is in an awkward location which makes centering your pix very difficult. the voice command system STINKS.

I hate this fone

I got this phone for my upgrade, I realized that this phone sucks! If your texting and someone calls it answers it immediatly. Not even giving you the chance to see if you want to talk to the caller. And the camera is the worst!!!! Its so blurry! If i want to take a good pic, i turn on my old Env1 and transfer the pics i took onto my micro sd card to out them on my other fone.

Pros

  • nothing

Cons

  • EVERYTHING!
