Calendar Entries

I have had my LG enVTouch phone for a year and half. I use the calendar section to keep track of many things. I don't want to delete the last year, but it says "memory is full" and won't let me add new items. I have deleted a few to allow me to enter more pressing items. I have a removeable chip installed as well. Does anyone know if the calendar can be "moved" to there vs using the internal memory? And, how many entries are allowed in the calendar or can it be expanded. Otherwise, I love this phone. It's been great and no problems. Thank you.
