Good phone for basic functions

lalotanaka has owned it for less than year before publishing this review

It's a nice phone with some good functions, such as unit converter, chronometer, calculator (which have an option for scientific calculations which I don't use, but it might be useful for high school students) and social apps (Twitter and Facebook). It's designed for teenagers who doesn't need the muscles of a smartphone but doesn't like the old fashion candybar phones. It's a good touch-screen phone but at times I feel annoyed that every time a notice pops out, the unlock screen appears and if by accident you unlock it (slightly swipping upwards with your leg or cheek) it can dial someone else or even start browsing by itself.

Build quality 8/10 I have dropped it a couple of times and it still work without any problems. Very light scratches can be seen in the screen, but it doesn't bother at all (if you mix your phone with the car keys it might scratch a lot).
Reception 7/10
Call quality 8/10
Internet 1/10 I haven't been able to navigate in this phone
Multimedia 8/10
Camera 8/10 It takes good pictures, but as it doesn't have a physical button, and you have to touch a very tiny area, it's very difficult to take self pictures. Also this touch button is the same for switching to video recording so it's very easy to accidentally change to this mode.
UI speed 5/10 It just takes too much time to hang up and dial inmediately (nearly a second between these actions)
Everyday usage 8/10
Text input 5/10 If you have thick fingertips it might be very difficult to type correctly.
Display 7/10 It's visibility at sunlight is ok, if you adjust its brightness at 100%. It have a good visibility at angle. At times the touchscreen is very sensible, it should have a blocking botton or proximity sensor to avoid accidental dials with one's face when talking (specially when holding the phone with the cheek and shoulder)
Battery 7/10 If I just use the alarms, and send a couple of messages, it can last up to three days at the most, but usually, the battery can run out pretty fast if I talk for 30 min or so.

Pros

  • Resistant
  • Good option for teenagers
  • Decent 3.2 mp camera

Cons

  • Battery runs out pretty fast
  • Not able to add apps
  • No offline games
  • Cann't get apps
  • A little bit slow
