Great phone great price, not a ton of features, not a great camera, other than that everything else the phone has works great. Good camera, good sound quality and signal strength, unbelievable for texting

It is a great thought. I dislike so much about the phone and stuck with the piece of junk till they discontinue it or 21 months goes by. The buttons wear off (hmm... a huge texting phone shouldn't do that), the camera is slow, the internet is slow. the phone can be sensitive (it likes to shut off when buttons are pushed too fast and reboot itself when it feels so), texting interuptions, and so much more. Very upset with LG.

Pretty Nifty.

This phone is great i have had no problems with it. But my sister had the exact same phone and she has had nothing but problems but she got a new phone now and its perfectly fine. I guess it depends the certin phone you get. I love the keyboard!

I have so many friends with this phone that I am getting one myself, i just hope the come out with a RUMOR2 or something w/faster internet -- other then that five out of 48 ppl i know have this phone and just love it! plus another two that wish they would have gotten it too! the txting is just awesome!

this phone is amazing for texting and it is small, but other than that it does not have a good camera and does not have other good features. I text a lot so i think it is really good, defenitely a good choice for a sprint customer

OH NO

What a pile of JUNK. This phone has to be worst phone that Sprint currently offers. If the screen doesn't go fuzzy and freak out, the inside keypad will go out and/or the ribbon cable will start messing up, then nothing works. The overall design of the phone is cool and user friendly, but the problems that come with it make me say OH NO!

Save the headache and buy the Samsung M520 or the Katana LX for around the same price. If your heart is set on this phone then PLEASE purchase the insurance, you will need it. Expect to take it in for a few doctor visits to the Sprint tech bench for fresh parts and/or maybe a replacement.

Ok, This phone is a nice phone, good for texting. It's a great value for money, but on Sprint, so that dropped it a point. Honestly, though, I think I amjust going to get better service and go to Verizon for the kick-ass enV2.

i absolutely luv this phone!!! the keyboard is awesome because im not really great having to press a button 2 or 3 times just for one letter. the only thing that isnt great is the camera because it doeant have flash but other than that it is great!!!

Rumor scoop

I love this phone and the full keypad but,i have to warn all of you,i am on my 6th one of these.I have had more problems with his phone than any other phone.I had an LG flip phone awhile ago and it had problems as well.LG is not a good brand.All of the rumor scoops that i have gone through have had the same problems,randomly shutting off and once a day not allowing me to text so i have to shut the phone off and back on.I have contacted LG and they said it is a software problem,i love this phone and am not willing to give it up so i am hoping for another software update to come out soon.

Good Phone.

Best phone on Sprint...until the Instinct comes out. (O, and maybe with the exception of teh Razr2 V9m). It is easy to text on, and great to use. The only downside is that it is on Sprint. It overall is great though.

Great Idea, but bad phone

Big bummer for LG. They built a cool looking, usable phone, but it didn't pull through. I work with a friend who has this, and she has already had to send it in twice for warranty issues in the short amount of time she has had it. Major bummer !!!!

Sucky

I've had this phone for over a week now.
If there is low signal, the phone restarts EVERY time I try to send a text or call out.
Only if you live and work where you always have good signal, this phone is perfect.

There is no flash on the camera which leaves picture taking limited.

The phone is also delayed with opening applications.

The QWERTY board is awesome.

I HATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate this phone and one of the reasons why is because of the way it just starts its self over when ever im making a call or when on the internet. I aslo dislike how when your using the MP3 player you cant do anything else it gets annoying if somone sends you a text message and u have to close the mp3 player to read the message. I aslo hate the camera i mean NO FLASH WHAT WERE THEY THINKING .The texting is great but i mean the phone altogther is horriable and PLEASE GET THE INSURANCE BECAUSE YOU WILL NEED IT.

not a well thought out phone

i had this phone for about a week and a half and took it back and reactivated my trusty nokia.

the ergonomics on this phone are horrible. the font size on the screen is about 5, which is really bad when you're doing something else (like maybe driving) and having to look up contacts. also, the qwerty keyboard is very hard to read in daylight. the keys are gray and the letters light up silver. it looks great at night, but if you text during the day, you really can't see the keys. not too much of a problem with the qwerty keys but a real problem if you need to add punctuation.

sound quality is poor with or without speaker phone.

signal strength is horrible especially compared to my nokia. i had no reception at home with the rumor, but 2 bars of signal on my nokia.

battery life is good especially since the phone seems to go into sleep mode all the time and you constantly have to unlock it. and yes it makes sense to use the auto lock feature since the camera buttons and such are easy to accidently hit. oh by the way the camera is pretty bad and has no flash.

if you're 13 and love to text, have eagle eyesight, and live in an area with perfect signal, then this might be the phone for you.

otherwise i would not recommend this phone at all

Its okay

The LG Rumor from Sprint is Great if you are a texter. It lacks EV-DO and the web browser is pretty nile and basic. Internet Speed's is pretty slow. The Camera sucks when it is in the dark you can't even make out pictures. And sometime's the phone re-boots when on the Web Browser. But i am upgrading to a Palm Centro to better fit my needs

If you are a Text then this phone is for you!

Poor 4

I have had this phone sence it came out. There are a few (and annoying) flaws it has.

1.It crashes, a lot.

2. Camera = fail

3.Freezes

4.Screen scratches.

the thing that SUCKS bout this phone is that u cant set texttones and ringtones!! now theres probably a way to get around that...even the Alltel dude told me there was a way so what is it?!?!? anyone know?!?!?

LOL I happen to have this phone for boost unlkimited and had it for alltell .... This vertion is compleate crap! no 3G its slow it just sucks! ITS A CHEAP COPY! Theres nothing more I can say.....

YES INDEED IT IS I LOVE THE QWERY KEYBOARD.. I AM THE HEAVIEST TEXT SENDER ALIVE.. I TEXT DURING SCHOOL AND EVERYWHERE I GO YOU WILL SEE ME TEXTING. THIS PHONE FITS ME PERFECT. ITS AMAZING.

I got this phone about 3 months ago and the other day the screen just stopped working and some of my friends with the same phone have had the same problems but i loved it when it worked

Cant like it

I have had the Lg Scoop which is the same as the Lg Rumor. The buttons stick and the keyboeard goes slow while type. I have to wait for the letters to show up. The camera could be better. The im takes a long time to load. I do not reccommend this phone to anyone. It looks nice but it doesnt work well. When celltop is used the phone also restarts. Not good.

crap

I thought tihis phone was crap. I owned it for 3 week and it shut off and when i turned it on it said "there is no sevice avalible for this phone".
Come to find out it wiped my phone clean...it ws like i just took it out of the box. I did some reasearch and i found a arrticle on how if you press the wrong buttons at the right time..it produces a bad outcome. It gets sent back to factory settings...I mean I do give LG some credit. The phone is sweet looking the quality is good adn everything. But i want a phone thats not gona blow up on my or nothin..
