when will we get flash player???

has anyone heard when and if we will be able to get Flashplayer for this phone (Optimus S) ... I love it but... it would be nice to be able to get what lots of the other versions of the optimus have available... and any word on the 2.3 update???

Can't happen. Sorry to be the one to inform you, but the hardware is physically incapable of handling Flash animations or videos. Aside from the Flash apk requiring a minimum of a 1ghz processor(The Optimus S series has a 600mhz), but the processor itself is not supported by Adobe in the app. There will never be support for this phone with flash, but for a free phone(or $130 off contract on Virgin Mobile) what can you really expect?
