I love it!

I dont know what everyone else is talking about but i love this phone so much. i have had it for almost two years and i want to keep it! I have never had any problems with it and i drop it constantly. Its still perfect! Its very easy to figure out and use. All the features on it are great and it is all around an awesome phone.

I Hate This Phone

It just dont work i had the phone for i think i a year all i know is thank god i can get a new one in Jan.2013 i had to replace this phone sixs thimes so far just today it was not working so dont pay it at all do u understand me

Build quality 10/10 i drop this phone about 100 times and put in water still didnt break

Reception 1/10 sometimes i cant hear during a call

Call quality 1/10 does not work

Internet 5/10 i really dont know cause i dont go on there thats why is 50/50

Multimedia 3/10 u cant buy music on there so it takes a long time to get music on there

Camera 1/10 its rally burly

UI speed 5/10 it ok

Everyday usage 3/10 it could be better

Text input 2/10 ok sometime the touch is hard to use

Ive had this for 8 months: hell. this is my first phone and im very unsatisfied! it worked for like a week and now it SUCKS. Ive had it replaced 8 times!!! id rather pay the early termination fee and change to sprint!! NEVER BUY THIS GARBAGE!! NEVER GET SCAMMED!!!

Build quality 1/10 screen scratches within days

Reception 1/10 says it has 3 bars but doesnt send messages, and if it does, it shuts off and doesnt make it to the other phone

Call quality 1/10 my friends and family cant hear me and i can hear myself through the other side of the call

Internet 1/10 idk i dont use it but probably sucks

Multimedia 1/10 it doesnt have anything and the music player... u cant get music!!

Camera 1/10 SUCKS!! even my GRANDMA has better pictures!! her phone is 4 years old!!!

UI speed 1/10 idk what UI is LOL but probably sucks 2

Everyday usage 1/10 everyday it shuts off within minutes when on full charge and doesnt turn back on. i dont evem take it anywhere now. (HOW UNRELIABLE!!)

Okay, so ive had this phone for a little bit over a year now and it is really bad. after half a year of having it, it started shutting off after sending just ONE messege... I've never gotten it wet yet it still works like crap... I CANT WAIT UNTIL MY CONTRACT is up... sadly i cant trade it in now since it was discontinued... well i hope you guys read this before you get it cause your gonna be sorry if another store has it and you happen to buy it... it was $80... it should of been FREE!!!

Do not buy this phone. If someone offers it to you for free, do not take it. Pick another phone. Do not get this phone.

We've returned it to Verizon many, many times. They claim that no one has issues with it except for us. They are wrong, and the phone is terrible. We cannot wait until this phone's contract is up.

It is 3:40 in the morning in cleveland ohio and this is an 18 year old 5000-msg-texter, 450 minute caller coming in. I am sitting here next to this god horrible s**tty phone yet again. I loved LG Cosmos 1. I dropped that bad boy off a high speed golf cart and it made it alive. Ive dropped that thing in water and it still lives. NOW THIS LG COSMOS TWO! I have had it for 2 months. I have had it replaced THREE TIMES. Like an hour ago the screen went black. Not only that I cant turn off the internet, my phone makes its own calls, and doesnt send message. I cant change features on it and when I do it shuts off. DO NOT BUY YOU WILL BE DISSAPOINTED!

The dumb cosmos touch sucks

It sucks. It opens browser by itself. LG did a bad job. the QWERTY keyboard is incredibly slow. The touch screen sucks and is insensitive. AND the screen just went all black and no matter what I do, it stays that way! AAAH! I hate it!

Read LG Forum Threads Before Making This Mistake

I switched to Verizon for a basic cell phone plan and was sold a Cosmos Touch. I've had the phone for 7 months and Verizon replaced it once because the phone constantly comes on, apparently "browsing," whatever that means. The second phone acts the same way. I have no data plan, have not used the phone to browse, and have not been charged by Verizon for any data usage, but the data counter on the phone shows constant data usage. I constantly find the phone display lit up when the phone is not in use and should be asleep. Verizon techs have checked all the settings and supposedly blocked data use on my plan, but the phone continues to act the same way. The constant activity uses up the charge, and is eating up the battery. After only seven months of use, I have to charge the phone every night, or it will not last through the next day. Verizon tells me that LG designed the phone to act this way and it is not their problem. The forum on LG's site contains multiple threads detailing this issue, going back months. The LG forum moderators continually apologize, promising to send the complaints along to the developers and promise a fix is coming. Don't hold your breath. I'm not going to make any other ratings for the phone (it won't let me use zeroes), because this issue makes any other pros or cons moot.

Bad Phone!

This is my first time writting a phone review and its for a good reason! I got this phone yesterday and i'm a texter...well it worked fine to begin with the touch screen was a little slow well i thought it was just a glitch and now it says i have to delete my messages to open a mms well i did and i had 2 messages one locked message and the mms. Well it won't let me open it and it has restarted many times just from me using the keyboard. This phone is not a good phone!!!!!

pretty desent phone... not horrible but adequite

I haven't had this phone very long but I do see some of what the other people are talking about.. Like with the sending to wrong people and shutting down while texting has happened to me.. I've had this phone for a week and seems good for texting but not so much for calling.. camera is only 1.3 MP or whatever but the screen and display quality is actually pretty good.. overall not a bad phone but I don't recommend this phone for talking so much but there is a slight delay with sending texts but nothing to complain about for a cheaper phone.. PLEASE REMEMBER that I'm only going on the phone I have and some are just built better then others..

Build quality 8/10 seems sturdy and not fragile.. slider isn't wobbily at all

Reception 6/10 I usually have 2 bars but sometimes 3 bars... Haven't seen that good old full 4 bars yet..

Call quality 5/10 not real good from my expriece but not all act or have same problems

Internet 5/10 don't use

Multimedia 8/10 music and everything is pretty good so far.

Camera 4/10 low MPs and no video is definetly a hurt piece but the display makes up for the low MPs.. no video does kinda suck a little bit..

UI speed 5/10 don't even know what it is... if someone would like to tell me I'd appreciate it..

Everyday usage 8/10 like I said good for texting but not for phone calls...

Text input 9/10 great for texting but the whole sending to wrong people and shutting down and also screen likes to glitch when I shut the phone while sending..

Display 10/10 incredible display for a cheaper phone..

Battery 8/10 I let my phone die completly then charged for the full 8 hours and so far seems to be good but only time will tell with batteries

• great screen resolution for the price..
• texting was pretty fast for me
• nice keyboard. letters and numbers are perfect size for me.

Cons

• call quality and reception is kinda bad..
• when u open and slide phone shut it likes to act up
• no videos so that means no videos of ur friends or children... and yes even if they send them to you they won't play

Its and OK phone

It was an ok phone for me. I did receive a lot of problems but it was also a good phone. It is a very durable phone but very sensitive. I accidently dialed my friend at least 12 times. Speakerphone was good. I lost reception in some places but not all. Texts sometimes went to the wrong people. But this is an ok phone.

All around bad phone... Drops calls, restarts when sending texts, no video, suckish camera, BAD! Also, if i slide it open, the phone will restart half the time. When i turn it on, most of the time, it will say, "Use Genuine Battery Power Off" and then count down from 10 and turn off. Never get this phone!

If your reading this good because this is not the phone that you want. For one lets start off with texting. After sending a few messages the phone will restart. Also i have to end a message and resend it becaus it says its in call state. If you text a lot (and most people do) this phone isnt for you. Another thing is the camera. Every picture i take usually has bad to terrible quality. The phone also breaks on the outer reigons fast too. The screen begins to have scratches soon also. When im in a calll it usually drops and i can hear an echo from me or may not be able to hear the other person. For a few weeks it may seem like a good phone but soon you will begin to have these problems and more.

I've never taken the time to write a review but for such a HORRIBLE phone I felt I should take the time to warn other consumers! This phone constantly reboots when you are trying to text. It would also send texts to the wrong person. or i would send a text but it would not show up as sent so i never knew if that person rec'd the text or not. The sound quality sucked when I actually tried talking on it...i felt like i was talking on an old cordless phone from the 80's. I didn't get online with it so i can't give any reviews there. the camera was horrible...so much so that if i wanted to take a pic i would have to be outside, then when i sent it to someone they said it was too small to even see anything. I had verizon send me 3 more phones since it was still under warranty (over the course of two weeks) and all 3 phones had the same issues. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE! Waste of money. although i did get it for free, it was a hassle calling verizon all the time. if you like to text or talk don't buy it.

Really Cute Phone

I got this phone a couple weeks ago and LOVE it! I explained a lot in the ratings, so be sure to read those. I've been wanting this phone since November 24 when it first came out. None of my calls have been dropped and the text sending speed is faster than everyone says. This phone has it all! My old gross Motorola Rival could only record up to a minute, so this is a really big upgrade for me! The touch screen is WAY more respondant than neveryone says. I love this phone! Be SURE to buy this WONDERFUL phone!

Build quality 10/10 I throw my phone around a lot and it hasn't broken, not even a scratch!

Reception 8/10 It depends on where I am; it's best when I'm not in an area with lots of people using their phone.

Call quality 10/10 I heard the people very well and they heard me great.

Internet 2/10 I don't use internet so I don't know.

Multimedia 10/10 You can record sounds for up to an hour which is great and there is a wide variety of music!

Camera 8/10 The camera is doable but there's no video, but I don't really mind.

UI speed 10/10 Pretty fast.

Everyday usage 10/10 I use the calender all the time, I always record sounds, and it's very compact and easy to get accustomed to!

Text input 10/10 For me the texts send immediately and the letters come up as soon as I type them!

Display 10/10 I love all the fonts and the backgrounds and the iTouch-like locking/unlocking feature. The QWERTY keyboard has perfect size buttons too.

Battery 10/10 The battery life is great; since I'm an avid user, it stays for a couple days!

It's amazing!!

I have had this phone for about 4 and 1/2 months and i love it! I am a texter and I love to text with this phone. It has cool options to color the text or background. I talk frequently on the phone and it has great service. The battery life is long. One time it lasted me a week. I could say so much more amazing things about this phone it's perfect for beginners that want a simple phone. (but if you wanted you could get bing) I would totally recommend this phone. The keyboard is very comfortable the only flaw is that media messages pop up a lot.

Build quality 9/10 My phone has only one scratch and it's on the back from when i feel and it was in my back pocket.

Reception 10/10 I can hear people great and I have never gotten a bad reception.

Call quality 10/10 I can hear people very well.

Internet 10/10 I don't use internet but it's probably great!

Multimedia 10/10 it has this awesome drawing app that i love!

Camera 10/10 My whole family agrees that I have an amazing camera.

UI speed 10/10 My phone gets to things as fast as I can blink.

Everyday usage 10/10 I am a regular texter and this phone keeps up.

Text input 10/10 I text fast and the phone has it down as fast as me.

Display 10/10 I can see everything well and it has an easy touch screen.

Battery 10/10 As I have mentioned one time the battery lasted me a week.

i got my upgrade early because my motorola rival crashed and i was stuck using a voyager. the voyager was ok...outdated but service was excellent. when i called the verizon guy he said he would recommend me getting the kin2m. i wanted this phone soo bad, so i said no i want the cosmos touch. he sent it to me, and no i dont regret for a second getting this. its everything i need. love the touch, only bad thing is that it has bad battery life, but i text a lot so that explains it.

great phone but a couple things

i had this phone for a couple months and it is a great phone it is better than my last phone but its is kind of hard to find/change things. there should be a divice search or something also there is no video camera there is only a camera but other than that it is a great phone also if i get a text or a reminder the screen stays lit up even though i set it so it wont so when i wake up in the morning i can never use my phone for that long

This is an okayy phone. it does not have very good battery life and sometimes when you are sending a text message, it shuts off then restarts. i dont have internet so idk about that. i do like this phone better than my old one, which was the NV 2. it is good at the touch screen. usually i press the right place! :)

advice this phone has horrid calabration. but is overall a good phone... a hint is if ur phone is shutting off when sending txts b4 sending them shut ur phone and then send it works i swear! Anouther problem is the music player it always shuts off if u have an SD card in it.. and it can only hold like 7 songs at the most great memory on the rest tho can hold over 500 pictures and good quality too

OMG I havent gotten this phone yet but it looks great. I cant wait to get it! People say they have problems with calling, but I almost never call, so that wont be a prob. Also my brother in law is a verizon manager and he says this phone is an awesome phone. I really like how its a touch screen (never had one before im sooooooooo excited) but ut also has a QWERTY keyboard, so there wont be any touch screen typey issues. I have been looking for a phone perfect for me and now I have decided this Cosmos touch is definitely the one I want. Thanks everyone else for reviewing about this phone, cuz now I know i want to get it! I'm so excited!!!!!!!!! This loooks SO much bettter than my old Blitz, I want it SO bad!

Pros

• Looks pretty
• QWERTY keyboard
• Touch Screen (ALWAYS wanted one!)
• SO much cooler than my old Blitz
• full keyboard is slidey, not a flip, which I like
• Keyboard is a pretty color
• call and end buttons, i like that.
• Very popular phone, so it will be easier to get a good case for it

Cons

• No video, although not really a prob, the blitz doesnt either
• only black, no other colors(thats ok i can get a case)
• I cant find any more bad things!!!!!!!
