HELP! I just received my LG 101 in the mail, and the first direction is: "unwrap the battery and insert in in your phone."

Where? How? The diagram doesn't show any access to a battery compartment. Give me a hint, please.

On the LG 101 how can omit the "*, BACK" step to unlock the phone. The screen keeps going back to that and it is a pain.
