I am using it and there is lots of problem in Huawei U8800 IDEOS X5 that i faced.
1.battery is very poor. i have seen that many sites have shown its talk time 6 to 8 hours on 2G.But actually it is very less, on
using just GPRS and switching off wifi, gps etc battery lasts for only 3 hours, which is very disappointing.
2.sometimes microphone stops working and i need to restart the phone.
3.it takes almost 30 min. to detect sim card after restarting the phone.
4.sound quality is bad and very low.

Have had the phone now for one week, and love it. My only hangup would be the maps apps, as I had nokia maps before, hard to beat. But the phone is great , on 3G I get about a day and a half with normal use.

Gys i have just bought an ideos x 5 and am having serious issues trying to get a 3g signal , i think i have cured the battery draining by turning most things off ut this 3g issue is quite well peeeing me off , is there any cures for this or do i have to take the unit back to d**k smith

Hi, I have Huawei ideos X5 and i I want to buy another phone so My question is about QUALCOMM SNAPGRADON S2 MSM 7230. What is the difference with the MSM 8255?
On wikipedia says MSM8255 has CPU CACHE L2: 512 KB and Dual-channel 333 MHz LPDDR2.
These data are not available for MSM 7230! I'm interested in how much is MSM 7230 L2 cache and how mouch is LPDDR2?
Thank you for the response.
