Well HTC you blew this one with me No Micro SD slot I was so looking forward to this phone and yet again a let down. You guys need to get online and listen to what we all are asking for. larger battery and a Micro SD slot for storage.

They should have made another version which has 32GB of storage.

The problems with micro sd slots for extra storage is the latency issue. It takes time to scan and read what's on the micro sd card on power cycle up. When the phone is actively reading and writing to the micro sd their is latency as well. In my experience it's also prone to corruption and causing crashes.
To tell you the truth if you need that much expansion then you need to think, why are you using the phone for everything? Think about convergence devices do can not do the job of a specialized device like a gps, dslr/advance point and shoot, or mp3/pmp. I am happy with my HTC 8x
