If you bothered to visit Google's website for Nexus One, you would clearly see that they offer this phone in two variations. One for T-Mobile frequencies and one for AT&T frequencies. The fail here ...

this phone doesnt work with att 3g neither was it made to. its for TMOBILE. it will work for att edge NOT 3g
