I've had my HTC One for about 4 weeks now and it continues to impress me.
When I got it in my hand the first time, I was overwhelmed at how nice it was to hold. It felt much more robust and premium than any other phone I have had and I have gradually had a lot of phones.
When I got it turned on, I was quickly through the setup and started to use it. One of the first things I had to try was BoomSound. I had been told that it was a superior sound experience, but it's hard to hear properly in videos online. So I found a Youtube video on the phone, and was blown away by the quality. It plays super loud, but at the same time, the sound deep, and without any hiss. BoomSound has become a hit among my friends :)
BoomSound can not be compared to any other phone. A fair comparison would be laptops with Beats Audio, or other serious sound enhancement systems!
BlinkFeed is also a nice idea, and it makes me look more news. I do need some more Danish sources though, but they continue to add more. For the international technology sites that I use, it's super easy to watch the news, and it gets me to read them instead of not keeping up with the latest anymore. BlinkFeed provides a good mix of what is relevant from around the web, from news to social updates on Twitter and Facebook.
The camera on HTC One is great for pictures in low light. I have taken more pictures from parties and the like. It's great to have usable images afterwards, which is not the case in other phones. Highlight Video...

The HTC ONE is the best phone that I have ever used and I am in love with it. The aluminium body with flawless finish, the crisp and clear display, the sound of dual speakers is clear and with nearly no distortion, the battery life is also amazing. And, also ZOE...
I would surely give it a 5 star rating and would recommend this product to each and everyone of you.Build quality 10/10Reception 10/10Call quality 10/10Internet 10/10Multimedia 10/10Camera 10/10UI speed 10/10Everyday usage 10/10Text input 10/10Display 10/10Battery 10/10Pros

I used htc one for 45 days. its design is so good but its front and back glass is weak, and build quality is worse than xperia z. you must use it with a case. its camera is very good at night but, at sun samsung s4 and xperia z is better than htc one. and it has dead pixels at mine and my friends htc one.

Zoe easy to use, Boomsound is better than a few hundred dollars for small external speakers better, Blinkfeed is convenient.
Using Zoe, a few simple actions can make a movie. Ultrapixel works amazing and I can shot clear picture in the midnight!
Boomsound really loud enough, I can now cook in the kitchen and watch movies. Blinkfeed are a few handy, I hope HTC will have more partners later.
Except the above three best selling point of the new HTC one, I must promote both recording function! When I first tried zoe in a park, I meant to test the photo quality, but when I play back, I can hear the birds singing clearly!
The audio quality is really good because my friends said now I sound much louder on the phone (actually too loud :P)...Build quality 10/10Reception 10/10Call quality 10/10Internet 10/10Multimedia 10/10Camera 10/10UI speed 10/10Everyday usage 9/10Text input 8/10Display 10/10Battery 8/10

Let me start out by saying I work in the cell phone sales industry so I play with all the latest phones everyday. I am a cell phone and general gadget geek. I have owned phones from nearly every manufacturer out there. It takes a LOT to impress me about a phone. This phone has done it post haste. I have had it for a month and everyday I find something new I love about it. The build quality is amazing. I wouldn't say it's completely "zero gap" as mine has a very slight barely noticeably gap on top, but it's close enough. The aluminum body is beautiful, sturdy, and scratches wipe right off. Gorilla Glass 3 was a brilliant addition, especially for those as clumsy as I am. I have dropped it several times and it still looks brand new. Blinkfeed is iffy with me.. I don't use it all the time but I have found myself scrolling through what would normally be 7 apps and a few websites in one go. As busy as my life is, I will say that's handy.
Call quality is amazing as well. My One X+ constantly dropped calls for no apparent reason. This has not. The earpiece is nice and loud, and those speakers... Wow. I am in love with the dual stereo Beats Audio equipped Boomsound speakers. Often, all I have to do to sell this phone is let them hear my playlist. I no longer need my little external iSound speaker when playing music on this bad boy. I can even hear it over the shower which is awesome on a cell phone. The music also doesn't sound tinny like on other devices that were initially intended...

The best Android phone since today. Full of useful and smart features that make you enjoy your phone a lot: HTC Zoe, Boomsound, Blinkfeed... Has good construction, fine feel on the hand and awesome screen. it's without any doubt the best under the sun. No other has a better bright. This makes the difference for me. Battery also is so good. Despite 2300 mhA it last all day without any problems, and you can use it hard that you don't feel like it's going to run out. The use of the phone is great, no lag at all and very smooth use in any circumstance.

I use these products for more than two years and this model really me zachwycił.Nowe features that make a really big impression and are used daily by me (BlinkFeed, BoomSound, Zoe, Sense TV). Especially as you have young children;)
The aluminum is a world championship. Yeah good stuff probably no one else has used-good in the hand, scratch resistant and most importantly for me, does not slip in your hand.
With HTC Zoe can capture and share an easy spobób interesting shots of your everyday life.

i will preface by saying I have owned several other brands of smartphone from the first Razor to the Palm Pre, Droid, HTC Evo 4g and Iphone 4s and this phone impressed me above all predecessors. After owning this phone your Iphone will honestly seem like a childs phone compared to what the One can do. Beautiful design, great feel in your hand and when out in public you get all kinds of questions about the phone once people see it. BoomSound speakers are the best I've ever experienced on a cell phone. You will be shocked at how loud the speakers go as well as the fact they have actual bass lol. You may have heard complaints about Blinkfeed on the One but you will customize it and actually enjoy it trust me; and if you dont you can set the home screen to something else. Battery life is good considering how much this phone can do, the display is amazing, beautiful colors. Another cool feature is HTC Zoe software. Give this phone a shot, trust all the great reviews.

While I've only had this phone for a little over ac week, I can say it is an excellent phone. No lag whatsoever, extremely fluid and fast as I could ask for. The standout features to me are the speakers, the TV function, the screen, and the camera (kinda). The speakers are freaking loud and clear and blow any phone out the water (although the Lumia 920 is very good too). A great feature I wasn't expecting to utilize so much is the TV app. It's seriously awesome. It's much more pleasing and more user friendly to see the currently airing programs in this format than on your tv guide provider by the cable box. Cool feature. The screen is without a doubt one of the very best. Colors pop and the resolution is ridiculous. Ugh I sound kinda crazy about this phone but I havebt had any problems. Sometimes Sense can get in the way (especially coming from a Nexus) but the extra features make it for it, for the most part. Oh yeah, and the camera is nice. Very good outdoor shots and seem very detailed. Camera software features are nice too. However, it's not perfect. I know there'd an update that fixes some issues but sadly I have to wait for ATT to release it. I think it'll work out some of my kinks with the software. Overall, I think this is easily one of the top, if not THE TOP, phone on the market.

This is truly an awesome phone to have. I have had it for only few days, but the excitement from the day that I got it never ends and the phone really live up to the hype. Build quality is superb and with that rounded back, it's really nice to hold and feels premium. Stereo speakers are loud and very clear on whichever track I play.
BlinkFeed is helpful - it delivers news that you care about in one screen. UltraPixel camera is great, especially in low light. I just wish it had better megapixel count [perhaps 6mp?]. There are only few minor quirks with OS, otherwise, on software side, everything's great running Sense 5.Build quality 10/10Reception 10/10Call quality 8/10Internet 10/10Multimedia 10/10Camera 9/10UI speed 10/10Everyday usage 9/10Text input 10/10Display 10/10Battery 9/10Pros

This is definitely the best smartphone i've used to date. What's not to like? The screen is fantastic. I've actually gotten to like BlinkFeed alot. BoomSound is perfect. Everytime i watch random videos i used to always let people use my headphones, now u can just pretty much gather around and hear everything so clearly. But to me, the best feature of the phone is the Camera (Zoe,Share,Highlights,Videos). This camera is amazing. Zoe and HIghlights are what i think separates this phone from the rest of the crowd. Hopefully, there will be more various themes to come in the near future. Overall, i can't recommend this phone enough for you guys. You actually get that certain vibe that somehow is always missing with other smartphones. With the HTC One, you definitely get that lifestyle vibe because all the features blend so well with each other from reading emails first thing in the morning to watching highlights of the night out with friends. It's all about that HTC One Vibe

The HTC One is the BEST phone I have ever used. I've had numerous smartphones since I first got one.
The camera is the best camera I have ever seen in a phone. The pictures it takes in low light are great and the ones taken with proper lighting are amazing! If you are a shutterbug or love having a quality camera with you at all times, I highly recommend this phone.
The speakers on this phone blow away the sound quality on any phone, ever. Having two front facing, stereo speakers equipped with Beats audio is awesome. I can listen to music or videos pretty much anywhere and I am still able to hear everything crisply and clearly.
Let me tell you, videos and pictures have never looked better on a smart phone. With a full HD 1080p screen, your eyes will thank you for days and days.
I find Android phones relatively easy to use but with Sense 5, the experience just becomes insanely easy and awesome. Setting up Blink Feed and the HTC TV functions are super easy as well and they're easy to use.
This phone is the sexiest phone you've ever seen. The all metal construction is awesome and beautiful.
In summary, this phone is awesome and I highly recommend it.

A great phone that could have been perfect

I've been an Android user since the G1 (also by HTC) on T-Mobile, and despite this being my third HTC phone, the HTC One is my first phone that doesn’t run stock/vanilla Android. After over a month of use, my view of the phone is that it’s a beautiful phone that could have been perfect save for some faults and quirks.
The hardware is phenomenal and has several innovative designs (camera, speakers), but the design makes it difficult to hold at times. For day to day use, the phone is fast and smooth. But there are moment where Sense gets in the way, and it can feel frustrating to use then. Unless you have the Sprint version, Google Wallet will not work on this phone (it will install but will not work), so if you want to pay by NFC (and are in one of the two test markets), you need to use Isis.
At the end of the day, I really do enjoy using this phone, but I often find myself feeling like it’s a few steps short of excellence. Some days I want to go back to my Nexus 4; other days, I can’t imagine giving up the HTC One and its new features. For a regular/new smartphone user, I think this phone would be perfect for them. For someone who is more of an Android enthusiast, it may not be quite as perfect, but I think that this is the best Android device out there right now, save for possibly a Nexus.Build quality 9/10Reception 9/10Call quality 9/10Internet 9/10Multimedia 8/10Camera 9/10UI speed 8/10Everyday usage 6/10Text input 8/10Display 10/10Battery 8/10Pros

The HTC One provides a breathe of fesh air compared to other current smartphones. With its all metal body, it feels great in the hand and provides you with a premium feeling that you don't find in most flagship phones. The display is vibrant and the colors pop out, something that can only be fully experienced if you see it in person. The camera is also another great feature as the new HTC Zoe provides you with features that can remove people in the background, catch the perfect picture by correcting anyone who isn't smiling, or combine multiple action shots into one photo. The ultra-pixel camera allows for better pictures all around especially for low-light conditions. HTC Blinkfeed is another great feature that I enjoy. Before, I was not able to keep up to date with current events going on around the world. Now, it is displayed right on my homescreen and it is easy to flip through the different articles to find one that most interests me. Lastly, Boomsound is amazing! It provides you with a stereo experience and the sound is crisp, loud, and clear.

A look into the One
matstarr has owned it for less than 3 months before publishing this review
Let's start out on the way the device looks. As soon as you open your box you will be absolutely blown away with the sexy look and quality build of the device. Htc has added in HTC Sync Manager with this installed you can very easily have your Messages, Bookmarks, Contacts, photos and more transferred from your old device to the HTC One. The screen is amazingly gorgeous and stunning, the 1080p screen is easily the best screen out there to date (468ppi). Htc has also made Sense which is an interface to the phone lighter than usual BUT still a very useful tool for those who are deep into tech and even those that have trouble using a smartphone. Blink-feed has also been added to this addition of Sense. It is a crafty and elegant News-feed, Social Media and other interests all bundled into a scrollable feed. It saves time and makes finding what you need nice and easy all in one place and always at your fingertips. Another wonderful addition has been the implementation of the second front facing speaker. This device is the loudest device I have ever owned but its quality sound being produced here. If you like listening to music then this is the device for you, not to mention HTC has thrown in a pair of ear buds in the box to enjoy as well. Another key feature added is Zoe. Have you ever tried to take a pic of a moving object such as a baby, pet etc and ended up with a blurry photo???? Well good news those days are long gone with Zoe you can record a 20 second clip and then extract...

This is an all around excellent Android phone with some specific stand out features.
** Positives **
BoomSound: The sound coming out of this little device is *unreal*. Truly excellent speakers for such a small package! As far as I know, no other Android devices (or iPhones) come anywhere close. Audio quality while using the phone for regular (non-speakerphone) calls is also excellent.
4G LTE on T-Mobile: This is one of the first devices to support T-Mobile's LTE. It also supports HSPA+ 42Mb/s, so you've got 4G coverage basically all over the United States.
Display: The display on the One is gorgeous. The color reproduction looks pretty good. Some other phones, such as the older HTC One S model, are too "punchy" or saturated. This display looks more realistic, and works decently well outdoors in the sun, also.
Aesthetics: The case on this device feels very nice and solid. The back side is curved which feels really nice in the hand, but you may want to get a case for when you set the phone down on a table to keep the back from getting scratched.
Zoe: It's an optional mode when you're taking pictures. When shooting a Zoe, the camera captures 1 second prior to when you press the shutter, plus 3 seconds following the shutter, for a total of 20 frames plus audio. You can select to save out individual frames (to get the best shots, for instance), and you can combine still images and Zoes into a 30 second film and online photo album called HTC Share.
** Negatives **

2013 Smartphone of the Year
brother1g has owned it for less than 3 months before publishing this review
After using the HTC One for well over a month, I can say without fear or doubt, “The HTC One is 2013 Smartphone of the year.” The design is breathtaking and unique, you can definitely spot it out of a crowd of phone from both the back and the front. The full metal body scream premium in looks and feel. That 4.7 in 1080p makes everything from texts to games vivid and come to life. Those dual-front facing speakers add clarity, volume and bass to your music, videos, games and even phone calls. The Ultrapixel™ camera is a masterpiece of a camera, from brilliant outdoors shots to marvellous indoor/ low-light shots. Even BlinkFeed™, which I thought I wouldn’t use, is surprising very good at keeping you from using dozen of different apps to check your news and social media as it is presented to you in a very and professional manner. Now finally, the most important thing of any smartphone, Performance; The HTC One neither know nor show any sign of lag, hiccups, struggling, when switching homescreen, opening apps, browsing the web, or playing games. It handle everything you throw at it, like it was nothing at all. The only thing I don’t like about the phone is that the buttons for volume and power are very flush to the devices and it’s hard to tell if you press the button or not. Other things what have been said about I have nothing else to say and I hope you guys enjoy the devices and I if you need more info click the link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9J1sGfAfc_0)

A) Hardware
•HTC manufactured a tremendous smartphone! HTC One is beyond my expectations in terms of build quality!
•Not ONLY it's made of a single metal body, It also has a relatively lightweight, a great feel in the hand and a premium look!
•The curved back was awesome! Couldn't believe it till I held it!
•Boom Sound Front Dual Speakers, Beats Audio and the Noise Cancellation intelligent chip are champions! My voice, and other party voice, are really clear in the noisiest environment (Sometimes I have to make a phone call from a factory’s production yard, with all machinery running, and the in-call sound clarity is awesome). Phone calls now are at their best with HTC One.
•The Silver White HTC One is stunningly goodlooking. All of my friends love it.
•Battery life is better than what I had on my previous HTC phones (HTC OneX/X+), for my same moderate usage pattern. I, now, seldom use the external battery bank to charge my HTC One to make it last through the night.
•Cell phone signal, Mobile Data, WiFi and Bluetooth have no problems whatsoever.
•I get a relatively faster GPS lock on my HTC One, compared to my previous HTC phones, which is amazing.
B) Software
•HTC One has made a great experience! HTC Sense 5 is truly lighter than previous Sense versions, it’s minimal, but very capable. I never experienced any lag, on my HTC One, switching from app to app.
•I love that I can group all the apps in “Folders”, right in the “App Trey”, I use “Custom” mode to sort my apps and move...

I'll be honest. At first, leading up to the announcement, I was not expecting the then-rumored M7 to be anything that would blow me away. I assumed it would be a modified version of the One X that launched last year, with a slightly remixed design that incorporated things from the Droid DNA in a respun manner.
I don't think I've ever been that wrong before.
This phone is unlike anything I've ever used. I remember how it used to be that an all-metal phone was impossible. I remember how people used to say that front facing speakers were never happening. I remember how people used to say HTC was finished. With this single phone, HTC has destroyed all those notions in a single fell swoop.
It is only fitting that we begin with the metal unibody. Coming from an HTC 8X, this phone is simply something else. The metal body simply feels incredible in the hand. The razor thin edge leads to this incredibly ergonomic curved back that allows it to easily rest in the hand. Even though the edge is so thin, the grip is reassuring. There's this slight outward curve that means that if you try to pinch your fingers together, the worst that can happen is that it falls into your palm, as opposed to the inward curve of other phones that can send the phone flipping out of the hand. Every single design element seems to be thought out with incredible care. Something like the IR blaster, which is awkwardly placed on the Galaxy S4, is cleverly hidden on the HTC One to appear as if it isn't there at all.

Being in cell phone sales, I'm pretty picky with phones. I had been watching this phone since February and it lived up to the hype. Nothing feels more quality than the aluminum body and the design of dual front facing speakers. The screen resolution is amazing and makes media experience really nice. I don't care how many pixels the camera is, it takes fantastic shots with great detail and editing options. I can't complain about the software because its customizable, if you don't like sense then root it. If you don't like blinkfeed then use a different launcher (apex is nice and free). If you don't like the battery life use juice defender ultimate. Overall this is the best phone out right now in my opinion.

First of all, the build is awesome. If you're geeky, like me, you'll love the fact that this phone is machined out of a solid block of aluminum. It feels great. Absolute lack of creaks like I've had with every plastic phone I've had. Perfectly rigid. I've dropped it (no case) and there was no mark at all. My wife even slid it over salt on a restaurant table and there were no marks at all. Any fear of aluminum scratching easily are unfounded. This is not like the iPhone 5. How did it take so long for someone to figure out a way to make an all metal body? It pays off in the feel and look.
The Boomsound is no gimmick. These speakers are loud and clear. My wife even listens to music on the speakers while washing dishes. They sound that good! Plus, the headphone jack has an independent amp and sounds absolutely great. The only phone that sounds better with music (on the headphone jack) is the HTC 8X. This thing is a music lover's dream...especially if you subscribe to one of those streaming music services.
On the topic of sound, the call quality is amazing! I've never had a clearer call, even on a land line. My mother in law is hard of hearing and this is the first phone that gave her no problems during calls. The noise reduction is so good that my wife can't even tell when I'm driving...even on speakerphone (which is loud enough to use without bluetooth so you don't get a ticket!). There is NO louder phone.
The screen is amazing. If you turn off powersaver mode, it is brighter...

Don’t let the “not running the latest version of Android” talk fool you, the HTC One is the best all-around smartphone on the market today. It has the features you want (like dual-front speakers, a browser that can run flash, wide- angled cameras and infrared) without feeling jam-packed with gimmicks. By going with 4.1.2, it gave HTC a chance to cut down the errors you find when using GUI’s with Android. I am noticing a considerable drop in app crashes compared to my last phone (The Galaxy Note 2, which is a great phone as well. It’s my second choice right now.)
My two cents on BlinkFeed.
I didn’t think I would use Blinkfeed (I already use Scope), but I am using it way more than I expected. It is great for reading news articles when you are on the go. Currently have it set for Vice, Atlantic and Reuters. I am hoping they add more sources in the future. NPR, Harper’s and National Enquirer would make my next list.Build quality 9/10Reception 8/10Call quality 9/10Internet 9/10Multimedia 9/10Camera 10/10UI speed 9/10Everyday usage 9/10Text input 9/10Display 9/10Battery 9/10Pros

Cons
- no multiscreen
- more sources for Blinkfeed

This is my fourth HTC phone, feel and look of the phone is stunning. The curved back, the front facing speakers "BoomSound", Zoe and BlinkFeed they meet all my daily needs. I am heavy user of my One, i get around 23h battery life. Thank you for bring me back to life with HTC One.

The phone is the best I've ever used. The build quality is just so premium. Boomsound is so awesome it makes my nexus 4 sound so bad! Blinkfeed is good if that's your thing. I prefer the traditional homescreen but I still use blinkfeed from time to time. The battery life is just awesome. 7hrs. screen time easy every day for me. Lastly the camera is the best i've ever used. seriously nothing comes close to the quality of pictures that come out of this phone.
