Their are differences. I would compare the HTC Flyer's specs against Sprint's HTC VIEW variant. They do different things. The big thing with Sprint's is the lightscribe pen where you can write on a webpage and share it on the internet and you can write on a blank page and record a sermon or lecture at the same time. Later you can open it and read it plus listen to the audio simultaneously. So there are some differences. I think these are the major differences. You can find out right here on phonearena. Type in the search box each tablet and look at their specifications.

there is no difference at all. The flyer uses the lightscribe pen too in the same way. The only difference is basically the name and the network it is on.

The View has 3g /4g capabilities. Flyer is wi-fi only. Otherwise they are the same. I have had my View for about 2 weeks and so far I love it.
