won't work with most of at&t isp

got this phone 2 days ago. won't work with at&t e-mail domain. mine happened to be sbcglobal - it doesn't work. support at verizon told me they had problems with at&t e-mails. referred me to droid tech. still didn't get it resolved.
the only e-mail i can get is g-mail because of google. i don't know how many times they had to reboot and took the battery out. imagine if I have to keep it for 2 yrs.
don't get this phone if your life depends on it, because it might not work. couldn't think of anything positive at this point. very bad experience with smartphone.

I have AT&T and I was able to set my email up just fine on the Droid incredible.
