Cutting the battery life?

The 9780 and 9700 both have 1500 mAH, an awesome increase over the 9650's battery life, and over tripling the Curve's. Now they're cutting it back down to 1200 mAH to make it a tiny bit thinner? I'd rather have the extra millimeter or two that would give almost an extra day of battery time.

Agreed.... why such a small battery? Seems they would be watching the industry and get a bigger battery..... unless they found a way to make this small of a battery last a day+

Battery life sucked, returned it because of that, 4 hours normal to low operation on a full charge.

Bought this phone in Mid August and although it's a huge technological improvement over the previous BB's which I've owed in various forms over the last 10 years, for some reason the battery is suddenly draining very fast. I'm not running any apps in the background and I disabled Wi-Fi. I'm stunned at how fast it dies.

I love the phone and the OS but I am absolutely returning it. What good is a great phone if I cannot use it. Low use and I have to still recharge every 4 hours (with NO browsing) or I have a dead piece of hardware.

Absolutely not worth it to me. I cannot afford to be without a phone and worrying about it all the time.

Really really s**tty battery life...
The device sucks it up without even using it.
Lasts maybe 12 hours on standby (not being turned on)
Browsing... maybe 1 hour battery life.
Absolutely awful.
