baterry and housing repalcement
i have this mobile (EL71) since last year, my baterry needs for replacement but i dont know where to purchase it here in UAE. Would you plese give me an info whre can i buy this battery and is it possible also to replace the housing

Great phone...terrible battery.
I purchased the EL71 in Dubai in early August 06 and have been using it in Qatar. It's a well built and great looking phone. The slide function is sturdy and the buttons are well laid out. The screen is large and crystal clear. The media player sounds great and the speaker is loud and clear (mp3s and handsfree calling).
The real gripe about this phone is with the battery life. The attractive feature list drags the battery life down, so be ready to purchase extra chargers or carry one around. I receive/make only a couple of calls a day with maybe 15 SMS daily. With this usage the battery can be counted on for a day or so.
The need to purchase extra chargers lowers my "Value for money rating". Other than that it's a sharp phone!
