myTouch 3G, BlackBerry Curve 8520 both available today from T-Mobile
The second Android powered handset in the U.S. was launched today by T-Mobile. myTouch 3G is now available for $199.99 after a discount and with your signature on a 2 year contract. The device features a 3.2 inch touch screen with a 3.2MP camera with AF and video capture. The OS build is version 1.5 which includes a virtual QWERTY keyboard. The phone is available in black, merlot, or white.

Also available from the 4th largest U.S. carrier starting today is the BlackBerry Curve 8520. Minus a discount, the cost is $129.99 with a 2 year pact. Of course, as we have reported, Wal Mart is offering the same model for as low as $48.88. The handset features a physical QWERTY keyboard, a 2MP camera, Wi-Fi, and 3G connectivity. But now we have just heard that even the low Wal Mart price has been trumped as Amazon is offering the Curve 8520 for 1 thin cent (one fat cent will also be fine, thank you) with a 2 year contract
