iTunes 8.2.1 released, no more Pre syncing

As Apple has released its iTunes update to version 8.2.1, Palm Pre users will now have to seek for an alternative way to sync their devices…

Anyone actually surprised by this? Blackberry licensed the right to sync with iTunes and so can Palm otherwise you wrongfully advertised a "feature" you weren't legally entitled to.

If Microsoft had a competitor pretending to be a Zune in order to allow syncing the device to the Zune software, I would hope Microsoft would protect their IP as well and block it. This is a case of a company using someone else's R&D and IP to selling a competing product.

Good.... STOP BUYING iTUNES!!!!! Buy from a different medium... Apple obviously doesn't want your business if you don't walk around and as a walking advertisement for their products. There are other ways to get music on your device.
