iPhone owners least prone to clicking ads

It´s not a secret that placing ads on web sites is quite a good way of making cash on the Internet, but it seems the sector has not yet come up with a proper solutions aimed at cell phone users, which means the potential is enormous. According to a study, conducted by Chitika, a company specialized in internet advertising and based in Marlborough, MA, less than 0.48% of all cell phone owners click on ad banners while surfing the Web on their devices. The figure seems to be substancially lower than the 0.83% of all desktop users who tend to do that. The research also reveals that iPhone owners are least likely to click on ads. The survey is based on a total number of 92mln impressions with just 1.5% of them made from cell phones. So, what about you? Do you click on ads while using your own handset?
