This is what we call a foregone conclusion, "more iphones are sold when there are more places to buy them", ya dont say!! Pointless dribble, how about a modicum of repect for your supposed profession sirs?

This needs to hurry up and happen, so at&t can get an adroid phone- something Hero-esque
16. iberrystorm posted on 01 Sep 2009, 15:14 0 0
there going to get the htc landcaster or something, hero, dont think so, because they dont deserve it.
28. behold--me posted on 01 Sep 2009, 18:57 0 0
actually they just had an article not long ago about how at t rejected the lancaster or some other android device. and i think that they should put this on t-mo bcuz at t is similar in bandwith
29. iberrystorm posted on 01 Sep 2009, 18:59 0 0
no, i thought the article said about a motorolla phone or something.

I don't think that it would be fair for AT&T to be able to extend their exclusivity deal with Apple for the iPhone, while they HOG Verizon's BB Storm 2 as well. If Apple does decide to extend the deal. I mean, I could care less if iPhone came to Verizon or not, I am just arguing that it's not fair that AT&T gets their cake and eat someone else's as well. VZW BB Storm 2 and Sprint Palm Pre FTW! :]
10. iberrystorm posted on 01 Sep 2009, 14:54 0 0
i know, verizon was stuck with a buggy phone at first and now, a new one comes out, and att wants a piece of that glory. if apple says yes to this contract thing, we probably wont see it on verizons network ever...
22. Fanboys Suck posted on 01 Sep 2009, 16:51 0 0
I'm sorry if you guys are all in favor of this crap that exclusivity deal are not "fair", but what it comes down to is business. These are companies that are in to make money from products and services they sell. There is nothing wrong for a company to have exclusive rights with another one because they paid for it. It is like saying you want to only fly on Boeing planes, but your favorite airline doesn't use Boeing jets. Then, you get mad because your favorite airline doesn't use Boeing, so you start blaming other airlines for their greed and hogging all the Boeing Jets in the world. Then you think you are "forced" to use a different airline just to fly on a Boeing. Companies make contract deals. It is as simnple as that. Stop being so butt-hurt over exclusive rights. Most companies have exclusivities.
30. iberrystorm posted on 01 Sep 2009, 19:09 0 0
so i guess its a matter of survival. everyone for theselves, if a company wants a iphone, no, make the agreement longer. the other company is getting a new phone. sell it for yourself. att will take it all out until the end
4. denmcdon posted on 01 Sep 2009, 14:22 0 0
Who cares..... more happening in the cellphone world thats more interesting than the iphone coming to more carriers.WTF:(
5. Mateo8326 posted on 01 Sep 2009, 14:29 0 0
If yall don't know AT&T taking over the world! Nothing fair when those three letters are put 2gether and them hoging the blackberry storm 2 was a very bold move of them
18. iberrystorm posted on 01 Sep 2009, 15:18 0 0
greedy also... att is really greedy, iphone is basiclly the phone keeping them in buisness, without it, they fail. because of that, they want to keep their best phone as long as they can, and get some of the best phones from verizon so they can get more buisness. yet when verizon want to get the iphone, "Lets EXTEND THIS CONTRACT APPLE" basiclly like that
6. Mateo8326 posted on 01 Sep 2009, 14:31 0 0
On top of that Money talks i'm sure apple would stay with AT&T for the right price.
42. YouLostTheGame posted on 01 Sep 2009, 23:03 0 0
That "right price" would have to astronomical in order for Apple to make up what they could potentially gain by opening their phone(s) up to other companies. I agree with the dude in the article. Mark my words, by this time next year, other cell companies here in the states will have the iPhone or something like it.
7. asears08 posted on 01 Sep 2009, 14:32 0 0
Just release the thing on all carriers and get it over with. It being on ATT is what stopped me from getting one. Make it available on sprint and Im all over it.
19. iberrystorm posted on 01 Sep 2009, 15:21 0 0
rather get a palm pre dude, if you have the money, ipod touch 2nd gen/3rd (maybe coming out later) and a palm pre. because thats basically a iphone.
25. realism121 posted on 01 Sep 2009, 17:09 0 0
yeah, but why have 2 devices...i'm TOTALLY with asears08...if the iphone was on sprint i would buy it full price if i had to. i'm pretty certain the iphone will never be on sprint though...
27. iberrystorm posted on 01 Sep 2009, 18:18 0 0
well, if you have 2 great devices on hand, you can show them both off?
46. asears08 posted on 02 Sep 2009, 03:03 0 0
I agree, it will never happen, but I can dream. And to iberrystorm, I just went with the BB Tour over a pre. I really like the software but the current hardware doesnt do much for me, particularly the keyboard. And having somewhat large hands, it just wasnt comfortable hold being so small.
8. Mateo8326 posted on 01 Sep 2009, 14:34 0 0
I wanna see that survey about the reason why they complain about the iphone is only b/c of AT&T network..that is bogus if any body would be complaining about AT&T it's there prices on features, rate plan, and anything that has to do with a $ sign. (coming from a former att employee)
9. iberrystorm posted on 01 Sep 2009, 14:50 0 0
or maybe how the consumer buys a iphone but cant do sms, or other stuff like that. or maybe how they keep dropped calls using at&ts service. also the rest of the stuff you said.
13. Mayday3420 posted on 01 Sep 2009, 15:00 0 0
yea, that's cause you work for att, of course they'll complain about that when they already have the device. Most people, however, don't have att but they don't want to switch. So most people's complaints is that it is only on att, hence the statement.
50. Mateo8326 posted on 02 Sep 2009, 21:05 0 0
hey don't we all wish that certain video games come to certain video game consoles it just don't work like that sometimes lol.
11. Mateo8326 posted on 01 Sep 2009, 14:55 0 0
(iberrystorm)Why is that everybody service sucks b/c of drop calls hasn't any body figured this stuff out yet. i'll telling you there gonna be one phone company at the end to resolve all this and we all know who that will be unfortunately :(
14. iberrystorm posted on 01 Sep 2009, 15:11 0 0
drop calls is very common on the iphone, even though i dont own one, people in the net says that also. taking a guess at the last statement you said, verizon when it gets the iphone? since i dont get what your talking about, might as well take a guess... me and grammer dont go so well...
33. iberrystorm posted on 01 Sep 2009, 19:12 0 0

ATT is utter Junk and Most iPhone users I know hate their Carrier. Really it should be an option on All US carriers if Apple really wants Money and Marketshare. An Exclusivity Contract is only a Drop in a Bucket compared to widespread availablity. Really they need to come to their senses and I think they only wanted the Exclusivity to create Buzz and Interest in the little product of theirs. That being said I really would never care to own an iPhone of any kind.
24. Fanboys Suck posted on 01 Sep 2009, 17:03 0 0
Hold up... Look at what you are saying! Out of everything you are saying, you think only AT&T is greedy?? Honestly, get over yourself and your love for your beloved carrier. Quite being a fanboy, eh? If what you are saying is true, AT&T being greedy, then all the other companies are greedy too. Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon etc... Companies and businesses exist to make money. Are you a business owner?? Apparently not. If you own a business, then you are in it to make money. You are also in it to have as many customers as possible. Sound familiar? You Dumb-Asses don't get business, do you? Eliminate as much competition as possible (Exclusive Contracts), gain as many customers as possible (superior products) and make as much profit (profit is money, for those who do not understand) as possible.Get off your dumpy soap boxes and quit bitching about businesses that bring you conveniences and services into your lives.
26. Galen20K posted on 01 Sep 2009, 17:23 0 0
Ha! iPHone is Anything BUT superior. It's not even a TRUE smartphone, it doesn't have a REAL OS to speak of. Only a Program Launcher. Quit being an ATT fanboy suck! I think your name is a bit of a Contradiction. True story!
35. Fanboys Suck posted on 01 Sep 2009, 20:10 0 0
Yeah, real true story. Try again. I fault AT&T with their flaws, as with any other carrier and their flaws. However, you and others refuse to stop riding your Carrier's Dick. Get off of it, and read what I posted. You are so quick to think that I am referring to "superior" as the iPhone. Let's talk about Verizon and their superior products (Storm). Sprint's (Pre). T-Mobile (G-1). Every Carrier has superior products. Superior to Dumb Phones. I was making an example of a business model, and you ignorantly think I am referring to just AT&T and the iPhone. Go back, take some time and read carefully and try to understand what I am saying. It's not that hard. You think everyone is an AT&T Fanboy and love the iPhone. Some do, some don't. But please, get off your Carrier's Cock and get a life.
36. DOGIEFRESH posted on 01 Sep 2009, 20:18 0 0
If Iphone is not superior why the fanboyz like you always talk about it......??? The iphone will always be VZW fanboys wet dream and take a look since the iphone was launched how many devices copy them......???? even the crappy BB storm.......!!!!!
38. iberrystorm posted on 01 Sep 2009, 21:22 0 0
"lets talk about verizon and thier superior product (storm)" i got a quick question about that. att is going to get the storm 2, and so is verizon. if the storm was the superior phone and att get the new and improved version, whats verizons superior product then? touch pro 2, all carriers have that!
40. Galen20K posted on 01 Sep 2009, 22:15 0 0
AhaHAhahaa Wow Fanboys and Dog are really Ridiculous, I guess they can't see beyond their Blind Fanboyism. Oh well! Some people will Never learn, you can't help the Learning impaired. Let them live in their Bias its Paradise to be Ignorant for them. Good luck with that you guys and all like you. You two Fanboys are just so Typical as are your Responses. ; D

44. Fanboys Suck posted on 02 Sep 2009, 00:10 0 0
Yikes... Ignorance is Bliss... It is like trying to explain Common Sense to a Liberal. It just doesn't work. Well, I tried. Nothing more I can do to help you understand the concepts of business in the real world. Cheers!
47. DOGIEFRESH posted on 02 Sep 2009, 03:42 0 0
Hey fanboy is not us is you to seem to not understand that is VZW that is over due with their 90's EVDO network no matter how many towers they have in each city can't compete with HSPA, is not bcause att is cause their network so no wonder why VZW is rushing their LTE, dude get over with try a search on wikepidea and compare and you'll se why almost 80% of carriers in the world choose 3gsm, and by the way i'll love to see the iphone on their crappy network that can't even handle a simultanuosly a data with a voice call, not even mention a video call...!!!
17. Mateo8326 posted on 01 Sep 2009, 15:14 0 0
but (Galen20k) you gotta thank of it a business point yeah it makes sense for all carriers to have but if the moneys right you would stick to the highest bidder....and if you think about it the iphone phone ain't the one making the money its the iphone applications that are, so apple getting what they want and so is AT&T.its a win win situations i have a bold and love i wouldn't get a iphone either (at least not pay for one lol)
20. *HOVA* posted on 01 Sep 2009, 16:02 0 0
I can only hope this happens. I'd love all the VZW iPhone haters to finally see what a great phone the iPhone is. Moreover, I'd love to see tons of VZW customers get it and starting using it like crazy to strain VZW's network like it did ATT's. Then everyone could quit they're complaining about how horrible ATT's network is when VZW faces the same issues. Mark my words

July 1st 2010, expect to see a nice press conference with a backin of verizon check marks and apples....its going to happen....why wouldnt they want to be on the best network with the first true 4G roleout... Apple realizes they milked the at&t cow dry....and they also have to realize that there would be over 5+ million defecters just to get a verizon iphone
48. DOGIEFRESH posted on 02 Sep 2009, 17:06 0 0
Hey dude are those 5+ millions switchers the same fanboys that work for VZW and have an iphone too......???
34. Mateo8326 posted on 01 Sep 2009, 19:22 0 0
Fanboy i agree that why i sticking to my statement early "AT&T is gonna take over in the end" lol
39. iberrystorm posted on 01 Sep 2009, 21:25 0 0
take of the world, hard to believe yes. impossiple, no. i kinda stick more to verizon than att. more coverage than att at the moment, but dont have a great high end smart phone for sale yet. (storm is one but att is going to get the storm 2, so storm wont be one anymore)
41. Galen20K posted on 01 Sep 2009, 22:18 0 0
It's really not hard to spot the two ATT fanboys in the crowd, one of them Even has a Contradiction for their screen name as to try to persuade people that he's not what his sn is protesting. inferior Products and inferior service must be your cup of tea I suppose. Its all very Comedic really lol. Ta! ; D
51. Mateo8326 posted on 02 Sep 2009, 21:09 0 0
i saying ATT as a whole not just cellular carrier wise my friend (iberrystorm) will take over in the end not b/c of the cell phone provider
