If you thought sweatshops were eliminated you are delusional. They are very prevalent in other countries but americans turn a blind eye as long as we get the products we want. And yes.... genocides still occur as well.

That's what happens when you send our work over seas. Its EVERY single big corporations fault. They only feed on more money and pure greed. Look at almost 85% of our products sold in the USA, they say made in (put in any other countries name here). That's why 20 years ago poeple got paid very well, now what you did 20 years ago, they want to pay you half that wage.

Ah yes, outsourcing. Nothing like good-ole American business by having some poor country businesses that abuses their employees do all the work. We come up with the idea and make everyone else work for it. What have we become?!

I get all the abuse in the US without the benefit of a 9% raise, manufacturing is the same wherever you look.

I don't think that Apple is the only company contracted with Foxcon. I don't know why Apple is being singled-out here. And I don't think that Apple has any direct involvement in Foxcon's management of their employees either.

They get paid handsome profit margins so...they are part of the problem...Pay the people their money its only about "$3.00" a day. lol Apple and other companies send manufacturing over seas, and cut American jobs and pay base, and then ask us to buy thyeir products.....We need to stop buying their products!
