Today at MAC World, Apple introduced the new iPhone 1.1.3 software update. The new firmware comes with a few new extras, including Home Screen personalization (rearranging of the icons and up to 9 screens, between which you can switch), adding a website bookmark as "Web Clip" icon on the homescreen, or sending a message to multiple recipients. The Maps application is also updated, with option to automatically locate you (based on the phone cells), and with Hybrid view, similar to Google Maps. Other updates include lyrics/subtitles support and iTunes Movie Rentals (available in the US only).

The iPhone software update 1.1.3 is available immediately for free via iTunes 7.5 or later for all existing iPhone customers in the US, UK, Germany and France. New iPhone products shipping from the factory will include the software update.
