iPhone OS 3.1.2 is released to kill bugs dead
Apple has released iPhone OS 3.1.2 which fixes a few bugs in the device. One issue that is supposed to be fixed is a problem that sometimes would not let the iPhone wake up from sleep mode (no, it is not contagious to humans!). Also resolved is the problem where the cellular network would occasionally get interrupted until the phone was restarted. Lastly, a bug that crashed the unit during video streaming also was removed. Besides those three bugs, other minor things were fixed. An AT&T carrier update was included with OS 3.1.2, which brings that version to 5.6. So hook up your iPhone with iTunes, grab the updated OS and after you install it on your phone, let us know if you see any changes.
