0. phoneArena posted on 20 Nov 2012, 07:55

Either Apple's suppliers are getting better, or demand for the iPhone 5 is slowly dropping, but the fact is that users who order Apple's latest and greatest invention from its online store now, will have to wait "just" two weeks before it arrives at their door mat...

Rules at what?

At the store level, I assure you it has. There are far more people buying the 4 at .99 and the 4S at 99.99. We probably sell 20 4's and 4S's to one 5. The 5 has not wowed anyone but people like you who's blind devotion causes them to talk negative about any opinion or desire that is not the same as yours.

Based on your own biased comment? Not quite.

And, you calling someone else biased is comical at best, Mxy. You are easily one of the most biased people that posts on phone arena.

17. darkkjedii posted on 20 Nov 2012, 10:09

Isn't that what happens as more people buy it the demand drops then a new device restarts the cycle. Ur comment was wack dude

How is it dropping, the i5 has been out for two months and you still need to wait? Meanwhile I can walk into any store and get a S3 and Note II. Hell the day the S3 came out I could buy one in a AT&T store without issue. Meanwhile i5 was not available without Pre-Order.

As for supply if anyone wants to get it sooner jump on Apple.com at10PM and go through the purchase and select a local store. Here in Minnesota they have been available the next day for pick up.

9. androiddownsouth posted on 20 Nov 2012, 09:31 1

Most people are going for the cheap and getting the 4 and 4S. The 5 hasn't wowed anyone I've talked to or sold phones to.

21. chaoticrazor posted on 20 Nov 2012, 11:12 1

true apple dropped the ball on the iphone 5, but can i ask honestly why all the android fans are cheering for the nexus 4 when it didnt wow or bring anything new to the table

the main reason it is popular is price, but take that out the equation and its nothing special

22. androiddownsouth posted on 20 Nov 2012, 11:22

I prefer Android(shocker there I'm sure lol) but I don't see anything special about the Nexus 4 since I need LTE connectivity as I am a Verizon agent. For people with access to someone's HSPA+ network, it's a great phone. Otherwise, it's meh.

23. chaoticrazor posted on 20 Nov 2012, 11:29

see thats a reasonable answer, was expecting the over the top android fanboys to attack lol

all im seeing though from all manufactures is them dropping the little things like micro sd slots which for high end phones i always thought was a must. nowadays 16gb isnt enough for must. and those who buy the high end phones usually will be the ones who fill them with music films etc

yes im generalising, but i think ive got what i mean across lol

25. androiddownsouth posted on 20 Nov 2012, 11:41 2

Well I am going to pick up the HTC Droid DNA and utilize Google Drive. For $2.50/mo, I get 30gb of storage, which is enough for me. The only pain in the rear is moving all those files to Google Drive lol. As an agent I still have unlimited data so streaming cloud storage isn't a big deal for me. I understand though for those without it how big a deal that can be without wifi close to them.

13. Mxyzptlk posted on 20 Nov 2012, 09:40

Of course.

5. Nathan_ingx posted on 20 Nov 2012, 08:16

I don't think the demand is getting any higher...won't make any sense.

16. darkkjedii posted on 20 Nov 2012, 09:58 1

Glad I stood n line on launch day

28. EclipseGSX posted on 20 Nov 2012, 13:51 1

Honestly what exactly did that get you but pathetic bragging rights that you have no life?

32. darkkjedii posted on 20 Nov 2012, 19:38

Actually I have a cool life. Happy, healthy, a great kid, and a beautiful GF. oh, and my company softball team just won a the D-League championship. I didn't know that having an iPhone means u have no life. I'm cool with it though. Enjoy your life lol.

33. darkkjedii posted on 20 Nov 2012, 19:48

Also to answer your question. It got me an iPhone 5 on launch day, that's y I stood in line. Mission accomplished.

I went from Android to Apple today, and I see why everyone prefers Android. I don't know why I switched. The customization, the usability, the features, and the freedom that you get with an Android is just unmatched. I am trying to unload this iPhone 4S.
