iPhone 5 beats the Galaxy S III in terms of web browsing usage
0. phoneArena posted on 12 Oct 2012, 08:29
It's been only three weeks on the market, but the iPhone 5 has already surpassed the Galaxy S III in terms of generated web traffic. To put things in to perspective, the GS III has been on the market for about 3 months now...

Now c'mon guys u know if this were the other way around, u'd b pumping your fists in victory. Give a lil credit where it's due, and jus admit that the iPhone 5 is no slouch, and neither is the gs3. There's a reason that these two superb devices constantly get compared to each other. No one compares #1 to #10. It's usually the top two or 3 being compared. Samsung apple, and Htc r my top 3. What do u guys think, What's your top 3 in no particular order?

I think this article was meant for Cult Of Mac or Redmond Pie. Must have landed on the wrong website.

You say look at fan boys making excuses but all I see r androids making them n this particular article, at least n the majority.

not true there are fanboys on both sides on this actually, you have androids fans saying what about this that etc as it should be taken into account and you have apple fans well most commenting telling others they are fanboys.
ironic as its coming from the worst fanboys around
ohh and you pionting the finger at android fans , any need really the comment above stands on its own without you trying to aim it a one set of fans

Both sides are crazy, no side is better than the other. Nobody should be so crazy for phones like half the people on this website. It's like you insulted their religion or something if they don't agree with your statement. On this website, there's no such thing as an objective person. Even I admit having my biases towards and against each platform. None of you people understand that everyone has their preferences, live with it and move on.

''None of you people understand that everyone has their preferences''
wow nice way to generalise everyone, and you try taking the moral highground.
i agree the fanboyism on here is most of the times beyond a joke and its both sides, i see worse on one side in terms of quality of comment.
and where did i say one side is better then the other?

"Ironic as it is coming from the worst fanboys around" obviously meaning apple fans. And didn't mean to generalize you, just the majority of the commenters on this website.

People forget is just a phone. Neither company pays your rent and/or mortgage, and if you're fortunate enough to afford either of these devices, thank your lucky stars, especially in this economy. So take a breather, and just tell us why you enjoy your "phone", and who knows someone may benefit from your experience and opinion, but leave the hatchet home.

Greatly said. I prefer iOS to Android but ill never tell anyone they're wrong for liking Android better because I understand why they would. It just drives me crazy when the fans of any OS start telling people they're wrong for choosing their preferred OS.

I just hate the fact that if u try to say why u like the iPhone, you'll get called every name in the book, thumbed down an insulted all day long. I have a slight preference to iOS, cuz I'm so deeply vested in it but android is off the hook too.

have to say, your saying this know yet you did one of the dumbest comments ever when you referred to android been used by sex offenders and saying thats what android users do with there intelligence.
you only behave reasonable when people are with you, if someone opposes your comments in any way you become as unreasonable and lets say mindless as the fanboys you complain about

This is such a misleading title and you know it Ray S. "iPhone 5 beats the Galaxy S III in terms of web browsing usage"... it beats the SIII in web traffic generation, not necessarily browser usage.
That's like saying IPhone 5 beats the S3 overall just by looking at sales... -_-

I do not like web browsing on small phones...5 inches and down...and, since I have a N7, that is what I use to web browse on now....

Does Phonearena have an editor? This article needs one...
63. Fuego84 posted on 12 Oct 2012, 11:27 0 0
Okay just wait a minute wasn't my there an article here on phonearena stating that it was really hard to track the web traffic on android handsets because of all the browsers available to an android user and that mostly only the default browser is the one being tracked for web traffic. If I'm am recalling that correctly then how can they come up with these numbers and conclusion. If Apple doesn't have many alternate browsers then thats where they have the advantage of getting having the most web traffic traceable.

Bet you a lot of that is IOS users having to go onto Google, Nokia, or Bing maps on their browser due to the fail that is Apple maps.

Why Mr Ray say that Galaxy S III should decrease if sales increase even after iphone 5 launch ? Biased post ?

The iPhone 5 was just released. Users who buy a new phone play with it all the time during the first weeks. I want to see a chart about the sales of the two phones.

i think its obvious that the iphone5 has more data usage at this moment cause its new and people are downloading apps and getting their stuff from the cloud services.
