What is the advantage of unlocking your iPhone? Anything I can't live without but don't know it?

In my case I use a local GSM carrier and have unlimited everything for less then $90 a month AFTER taxes. Just nice to be able to not be constricted to their costs of data packages etc...

Ultrasn0w will allow those that use the iphone on t-mobile or other GSM providers to upgrade to 3.0 and not be locked down to just AT&T.....this also increases the resell value of the iphone now too......
