One thing I haven't seen on all this rambling BS of people yelling which phone and network are better...I have a Mac Book Pro for my photo and video editing. I don't do PCs. What phone perfectly syncs with a mac? The iPhone. So which phone did I get, the iPhone. And as for me, yeah there are areas where my verizon gets better service. Yeah it's a pain when my friends send me pics and I have to look at them on the web and not my phone, but as for every other phone I've used and touch, the iPhone is a marvel. By the way, tried one of the Dares because I wanted to upgrade, my Chocolate 2 has better voice quality than the Dare. The Dare pics up EVERY noise that was around me and it iritated every one of the people I test called. Sticking with the Chocolate 2 for now on Verizon and the iPhone for "work" on AT&T. I travel international for work, love the quad band GSM. Oh and the fact I can sync my movies and music seamlessly to watch on the plane, even better.

Just wait for LTE, then speeds will all be the same, phones will be usuable on all networks and then every one can shut up and get the phone they like and quick bashing other peoples phones. You may like the sporty engine of a BMW, but I like the comfy posh feel of a Merc. Both great, both different in their own ways. I'm not going to bash you for your BMW, I'm going to ask you if I can drive it every once in a while.

honestly, the phone isn't a bad phone at all, and sure it might be "pushing the mobile phone companies", but if that were true it's not because the iphone is the most amazing piece of machinery ever built, but it's because the other phone companies aren't trying hard enough, mostly because they don't have time to try something new or come up with an innovative new feature. honestly, apple isn't even trying hard enough, and if you can't see that, you have been brainwashed by their ads and you really do think that every new product really is "new" and "innovative". they have seen that the mobile phone market is easily beatable, especially in the software and the ui, and all they have to do is make their ties with a sevice provider and make some "astonishing" new piece of hardware, and everyone will come running. i'm not trying to be a hater but, they are seriously milking you for all you are worth, look at the iphone and the iphone 3g, they could have easily made a 3g iphone at a much lower price than $600 when the first iphone came out, but instead they made a phone that was $600, no 3g, which was practically the norm on all phones over $250 at the time, with hardly anything innovative but a touch screen and a nice fluid ui, honestly, we've seen it all before, email, web, everything, but why not more, why not make an amazing new phone with amazing new features never been done before. if they weren't at the top of the food chain, they would be trying very hard to come up with something that really was innovative and they would really have to come up with some killer device, but instead they are just periodically going to re-release the same product with more storage and the same ui, maybe a price cut, and suddenly it is "new" again. the very first ipod nano could have played videos, hell, you can even play half-life on an ipod nano, but instead apple decided to take away the video feature, release the ipod nano, re-release the ipod nano, and then re-release the ipod nano with video, and suddenly people think that it is brand new technology. why not just make the first ipod video capable? because you will still think after 3 generations of ipod nanos that video is suddenly brand new. we've seen them do it and they know we know what they're up to, yet people will continue to buy their products and replace them periodically with "newer" apple products. just face it they are milking the consumer and taking every penny along the way. i don't hate apple products, in fact i've owned a few ipods, i just wish they would try harder, and do something we've never seen done before. please do not reply to this if you haven't read the entire thing.

It's called TECHNOLOGY smart guy. it's always getting better and more and more things are being incorporated. Keep in mind the original iPhone is the FIRST cell phone made by Apple. Obviously it's not going to be perfect and for the first phone ever made by them I would say they did pretty well. The first RAZR didnt' have 3G, horrible camera and bla bla bla, and they re-release a new RAZR practically every year too, along with how many other phones (the original VZW V to the enV to the enV2 to Voyager). EVERY company releases phones and then newer models with subtle changes, what's your point??? It's not like Apple is purposely just adding one or 2 new things every year, GET REAL!!! Every company does it so pretty much your entire ridiculous post was irrelevant. Thanks for that.

The Iphone is deff a hot phone...i must agree...but its just a phone...phones will come and go, but the network my friends will always remain. Verizon Wireless destroys the competition and will continue to do so!
