iPhone 2.0 leaked earlier
The iPhone 2.0 firmware update leaked a few hours earlier than the expected official date. If you are eager to be one of the first 2.0 users, just download it and install it, but keep on mind: although many people reported to be working, it is not 100% official. And it is for iPhone only, not for iPOD Touch.

After an .ipsw file is downloaded, iTunes must be asked to update from it. Once you are done, you’ll have the benefit of the new software: App Store, search in contacts and updated Google Maps. Head over to Engadget for their hands-on report and don't forget to tell us if you update to it!
