Which one has the better build quality? Ipad mini! And ipad mini is only assembled in china. The parts are made elsewhere. I mean chassis.

Build quality? You mean aluminium vs plastic? It's boring argument .. even you car interirors has more plastic than you would want aluminium on :)
On ipad i hate doing the five finger smooch of screen so often. This single step slows down all speed advantage that critics talk of besides of course straining the joints.

There a damn physical button available and for me the the five finger gesture (gesture not smooch) works great. Your nexus 7 has awful build quality and pathetic color saturation on its display. I can break your nexus 7 while holding it. Ipad mini is simply the better device.

This is not debatable. Asus is notorious for cheap builds. Go buy yourself an Asus product. They are cheap for a reason.

Because it is an example of stellar engineering. It's not cheap like N7. It has a retina display, better cameras and is extremely thin.

Agreed that Apple has a higher quality build but they still have a much higher profit margin than the competition (with older/lower internal specs also I might add)! If they lowered their prices, they would only sell more devices! I think a lot of people are getting tired of their arrogance, it's like they are saying that people will buy their products no matter what the price, only because they are manufactured better, not cool! Unlike a lot of people that post on this site, I do like Apple and their OS, but I'm just saying that the manufacturing cost does not justify their much higher profit margin.
Returning back to the subject, an external keyboard for a mini just doesn't make sense to me? One finger typing? Lol
