iPad mini gets 'lego-lized' by Belkin

It looks like California-based company Belkin, which manufactures a vast array of products, has recently teamed up with Lego again and the result is one of the quite extraordinary protective accessories – the Lego Builder Case for the Apple iPad mini. It comes in three vivid colors, red, green and yellow, and makes your iPad mini look like a brick (pun intended). As you might have guessed, the back of the case, which is a real Lego base plate, is completely compatible with all of the Lego bricks out there and can be used as a foundation for your brick creations.

The case Belkin made will allegedly provide enough protection for Apple's slate. It is made from durable, co-molded hard plastic, which is scratch-resistant. What's more, the integrated smart cover is foldable and may act as a stand for the iPad mini. The case is also equipped with AutoWake magnets which wake up the tablet when you open the front cover. Of course, the case Belkin made features easy access to all ports, buttons and camera lenses. Well, it's up to you to decide if this case will be practical when it comes to everyday use, but it's undoubtedly eye-catching.

This is not the first time Belkin and Lego teamed up to produce something extraordinary for Apple's products. The iPhone 5 and iPod Touch both got a Lego Builder case several months ago.

If you still keep your inner child alive or you've got real children, then you might check this case at Belkin's official site (links at the source). It will cost you $59.99.
